“I was delighted by the service today.I guess the manager helped me. He was awesome. Great service, speed and conversation.He informed me that the lunch will start in about 8 minutes minimum and I will have to wait for my order, so 8 requested him to give me my coffee in the time that I wait for my main order. But the main order got filled by the time I got to pick up my coffee. “The rice plate is amazing! The felafel is some of the best I’ve ever had, really tender, moist but not dense, perfectly seasoned. Same for the chicken: tender, moist, & sensationally seasoned. Everything on the plate is sensational, and works together beautifully. I can’t get over how delicious this is. “Five Guys has been open 15+ years at this location but you could think it opened a few months ago. The crew had it looking super clean and keep everything looking great (it was quiet on a snowy night). The fries were great but with a LOT of salt, and the Little Bacon Burger was perfect!“

“We love Country Drive-In, especially their chicken speedie sandwiches and delicious French fries. Staff is always pleasant and food is consistently good. Love that if we have been out working in the yard we can just clean up a little drive there when hungry. People pop over from pools with cover ups over swim suits in the heat of the summer. Just a really casual place to grab a bite and/or some ice cream. Little kids (just watch them by the busy road) and well behaved dogs are always welcome. “After only eating Chick-Fil-A in D.C. and Virginia, I was overjoyed to find out Chick-Fil-A would be right in my hometown. Although when it opened, it was always crowded, and pretty much impossible to get "fast" food for the first 1-2 months, it has calmed down, and is pretty fast in terms of service. I went around 6pm, and there was a pretty large dinner rush line. However, the staff remained very calm and mature and dealt with the crowd smoothly and quickly. I got a Chick-Fil-A deluxe with buffalo sauce, and it was absolutely scrumptious! If you're ever craving chicken in the Troy-Rensselaer area, come on down and check out Chick-Fil-A! It's been worth the wait!Parking: Decent amount of spots to park, as the restaurant shares a parking lot with the adjacent Aldi.Kid-friendliness: Kids meals, cow mascot, games. “I thought the Chinese place had good chicken wings. After I went there and ordered 6 chicken wings, I sat in my car and ate them. Let me tell you, those chicken wings were to die for. There perfectly seasoned and they melted in your mouth. I have never tasted wings that go in years besides my grandmother. Now, I have to try all parts of the chicken to see if they're as good as the wingsKid-friendliness: I can't say too much for the kids. “This is certainly one of the best places to hang out as a student of Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute. It can be either to grab a coffee, have a bite to eat, or just chill out with your friends. It is also a nice place to study or work.There are ample amenities for charging your laptop, playing some indoor games like table tennis, billiards, etc. There is also a pub upstairs and various meeting rooms. The Panera Bread here is also pretty good.“

“Wonderful, quiet place to eat with family. Today the 2 ladies working were amazing working together as a team to get our 6 subs put together quickly.We are from out of state and family suggested we get lunch there. Definitely glad it was suggested.They even offered to carry it to our table, seeing we had our hands full. My wife had it under control and thanked them for offering. You don't see service like this much anymore. Store was decorated so qauint for fall as well. We will be back definitely on our next visit to our hometown. Why? Food was fresh and very tasty especially the crisp golden nuggets which our kids loved the most with the cheddar cheese. They gave us some nugget cups for our 2 little ones with lids which made it easier for them to drink out of. Much appreciated. Thank you!!“
“I don't normally eat lunch, but had missed breakfast and was in the vicinity at a few stores, and this fit the bill. I enjoyed a cheeseburger with fries, a coke and a chocolate shake. I ordered the regular fries, but the portion is quite generous. I didn't realize that I had ordered a double burger, but it was what I needed. The shake was fabulous. The bill was $24 and change, more than McDonald's for sure, but the portions are large, and the quality vastly superior. I don't eat out often, but Five Guys is worth the trip.“
“The subway in Wynantskill is owned by a gentleman named Dave. Dave recently had this subway remodeled, and holy cow does it look amazing! Finally, the appearance matches the personalities of the employees. This subway has been a reliable source of lunch for me for about 4 years. During this time, I've gotten to know several employees there, and the owner. Dave is an incredibly kind owner and cares about his consumers. The sandwiches are always made neatly and well organized. You never have to worry about them falling apart. All the wmployees are hard workers. They keep the place clean, assemble great sandwiches, and keep fantastic conversation, which allows for a friendly environment. I can't say enough about the quality of this subway!“
