We were on the highway. We knew we were not going to make it back in time for the start of the game so we hopped off the LIE and watched the game in this fab classic bar! Everyone knew each other. The banter was right out of a sit com. We watched the European Cup final game: Italy vs. England. Everyone was on the same team at the end. Great experience. The bartender was the best!
So this is a Dive Bar that accepts credit cards as payment. The parking lot is shared by local businesses with the area. As you enter, you'll notice that seating is for small to midsize groups. The Bar Area has pressed against the wall and the dining area has tables and chairs. There's about 6 beers on tap but food is limited to chips and pizza. Went to Scotties with friends for our yearly St. Pats celebration. Had a blast. Bartender was excellent. Friendly, welcoming, attentive, and a wonderful human! This is the kind of place where no one is a stranger for long. Love it!
