“Just visited Osteria Umbra yesterday evening for the 2nd time. This place has quickly become my favorite Italian restaurant on Long Island. The quality of the food is extraordinary, and the service/wait staff is second-to-none. Both times I visited, everyone in my group had a truly exceptional evening. From the moment you walk in the front door through the completion of dessert, this place provides first class service. The Black Truffle Taglierini in the Parmesan cheese wheel is a must try and delightful experience. The Australian Wagyu Tomahawk was absolutely delicious and well worth the order. The Italian Cheesecake is homemade, and is the best I have ever had. If you have the opportunity, make a visit and give this place a try. You won't regret it!“

We both had to show the really nice door man our ID (I’m 64 and she’s 62).
The place looks great, and reminds me of a few beloved bars from my younger days. I’ll be back for a drink sometime soon.

Also there was a woman there who I can’t remember her name but she was deff a staple and possibly an owner not sure but she lit the room up and her energy was contagiously amazing! Whoever she was she needs a raise and to be recognized as an asset to this joint! 5 start and overall a good pace for events too!
