“BEST TACOS ON THE NORTH SHORE. We stumbled into Ditch solely by chance and we are so happy we did. It’s a breath of fresh air for a rather stale Main Street in PJ. Very beachy vibes, feels more south shore LI than snobby north shore which is probably why I love it so much. The menu has a little bit of everything and everything we saw coming out of the kitchen looked amazing. We ordered tacos, five different tacos so we could try a bit of everything. From the perfect corn tortilla to the pineapple toppings, everything was fresh and delicious. The owner Tracy came over to welcome us to his new spot and express his gratitude for giving the new spot a chance. Our server Brennan was working a busy lunch shift mostly solo and he still delivered a top notch experience. Very happy with our new discovery and we can’t wait to go back!“

“The best bistro on Long Island. This chef knows what he is doing. Comparable to the best city restaurants but with a cozy atmosphere. Come here and see for yourself. Particularly loved the mushroom toast for appetizer.“
“1st time eating here, everyone was xtra friendly. The food was so good, seasoned just right, the shrimp plantain nachos are def a must. Drink were so good (made by Ethan), they’ll def sneak up on you. Overall everything was perfect, I love the decor can’t wait to come for brunch.“

“We had many parties at Katie’s . Staff was exceptional and took care of everything for me . Brian made sure I had everything I asked for right down to specific music I wanted played and always helped make things perfect. Very reasonably priced and very hard working staff. “I go there when Priscilla is there because the 1st time I went there she was amazing and made me feel like one of their own right away. I gave 5 stars for food because they let you order in and theres free food most of the time on fridays when I go. When i stay late theres always a good band or DJ. Definitely worth checking out!!“

“Great service by Kathy, she's a firecracker with a bunch of energy. They have a pool table, reasonable prices and sometimes they provide food. The other waitresses are also nice. Good people all around to drain your worries away. Open daily 10am to whenever last call is.“

“Just visited Osteria Umbra yesterday evening for the 2nd time. This place has quickly become my favorite Italian restaurant on Long Island. The quality of the food is extraordinary, and the service/wait staff is second-to-none. Both times I visited, everyone in my group had a truly exceptional evening. From the moment you walk in the front door through the completion of dessert, this place provides first class service. The Black Truffle Taglierini in the Parmesan cheese wheel is a must try and delightful experience. The Australian Wagyu Tomahawk was absolutely delicious and well worth the order. The Italian Cheesecake is homemade, and is the best I have ever had. If you have the opportunity, make a visit and give this place a try. You won't regret it!“

Good-natured banter all around.As a woman in a predominantly male bar, I was included in the conversation, and had a great time. “Been here a couple of times. Once on a date night Thursday with my wife, another time for birthday party on a Saturday night with DJ C Natryl. He created a sick vibe. Can't wait to come back to hear him play again!! Nice little room that really is a gem. :)“
