I grew up in a 100 percent Italian family and I have to say Nona’s lasagna was the best I’ve ever had in my life. At 58 years old I have had plenty of lasagna. This is my new go to spot for Italian fare.
One of the best, if not the best restaurant in Bay Shore, period! The food is fabulous and the portions are tremendous. Try it for yourself and I bet you'll agree. Order the pork chop and see if you can finish it!
I went to Butera’s last night for the first time and from the time you walk in until you leave it was a great experience. Our waitress was wonderful, the staff was kind and attentive and the food was delicious. Will definitely be back!!

For the first time, guests have ordered Nonna's Lasagna, which is not run of the mill and could serve an army. The food is magnificently delicious and fantastic, with servers who are excellent and very helpful. Many guests have found the food amazing and keep returning for another fantastic meal. Overall, Butera's remains a popular spot for quality food, generous portions, and friendly service.
