Great place to unwind. Great beer on tap, great food, very attentive waitstaff. Great live music. For everyone that doesn't know, now you know.

1683 Sports Bar & Restaurant is a great local spot that surprises visitors once they step inside. Don't let the outside fool you because the inside is absolutely gorgeous, with brand new tables, chairs and TVs. The owner is very welcoming and professional, and goes out of his way to make customers at home. The staff is really friendly and attentive.
The food is amazing and surprisingly good for a sports bar. Burgers are great, as are the fish tacos. The spinach and artichoke dip that comes with pita chips is to die for, and the chicken fingers are absolutely HUGE chunks, breaded and fried to order. The food always comes out piping hot. Drinks are great too, including a perfect espresso martini brewed with fresh coffee and a decent pour of house wine.
This is a great place for nights you don't feel like traveling into Nassau. There is a dart league, bands are usually good, and the DJ plays a bit of everything. Little local bar, no curb appeal, but worth a visit.
