“This gem is a stones throw from the Ocean Beach ferry. My friends and I make sure we visit here anytime when we're looking to people watch, catch a game, or waiting to board. They have all the settings needed to enjoy your stay on FI. Staff is very attentive. I think it was the manager, Darren, made sure to check on us. We recently had with the Cubano and the Baja shrimp tacos. It was a tasty and proportionate.“

“We visited The Wharf on Sunday evening and had a fantastic experience. We sat outside by the water, and the atmosphere was absolutely beautiful—relaxing, scenic, and the perfect setting for dinner.
The highlight of our visit was our server, Brittany. She was outstanding! She was friendly, attentive, and fit right in with our party, making us feel like we were dining with a friend. Her great personality and excellent service truly made our evening memorable.
We had a wonderful time and will definitely be back. We'll be asking for Brittany again on our next visit!“

“Came here on a whim the other night and had an amazing time. The people here were so friendly and kind. The bartender Sue (lol idk how to spell it) she was a gem helped me feel really comfortable. The drinks were reasonably priced. The people here take pool seriously though so bring your game face. Parking was easy & I suggest paying & tipping with cash. Oh and most importantly the bathroom was clean!!“

Beautiful spot to sit close to the water and enjoy cocktails while listening to music.
I’ve been here quite a few times, most bands are a hit - some can be so so.. but that’s not the restaurants fault when you give bands a shot to perform.

The food has never disappointed us.
The mixed drinks are always great, especially the specialty drinks.

The service is always so warm & welcoming since coming here for the last 2 years a few times a month during the summer - I have NEVER had an issue with exceptional service from each individual who works there!!!!

PS. SO HAPPY THE TOWN FINALLY PUT LIGHTS IN THE BATHROOM!!!“

“Breakfast is our favorite meal and we eat out every morning. Due to an early morning doctor appointment, we bumped into Buttermilk’s Kitchen. Great vibe as soon as you walk in….friendly and cheerful staff, nice decor, immediate service. I had the “The ‘Ol Barnyard”…..the sausage gravy was excellent with big chunks of sausage and super flavorful…..probably the best I’ve had here in NY and most of the South!!! The bacon was high quality and very tasty. My perfect over easy eggs were so fresh (yes, I can taste the freshness and quality just by having a bite of the whites!). My husband had a “Create Your Own Omelette” and declared that is was a “work of art” (I was offended because I make a darn good omelette and he never said that to me!) We were concerned about the “hash browns” because that usually means just cubed and fried potatoes, so we were very pleasantly surprised at the delicious shredded and seasoned, crispy but soft hash browns. Our regular coffee was good and hot, and they offer several “craft” coffee options. The Banana Foster French toast looked delectable! The lunch menu looks good, as well. We’ll definitely be back.“

I wrote and email expressing my concern , which they responded quickly and tried connecting on the phone but they dropped the ball and did not respond to my follow up call nor my follow up email week has gone by. It’s nice in there I would’ve considered returning.

Tim, the manager called again and we had a nice conversation that I much appreciated. Offered gift card which was very kind. Sometimes things happen, if I business is willing to make it right and show humility it’s a good business. I’ve updated this review in high hope of returning and having a good experience and updating to 5 stars!“

“This place just does it right! We keep stopping in and diving deeper into the menu and trying different things, we love all of them. Our 11 month old was with us this weekend and our server was awesome with him as well. “BEST TACOS ON THE NORTH SHORE. We stumbled into Ditch solely by chance and we are so happy we did. It’s a breath of fresh air for a rather stale Main Street in PJ. Very beachy vibes, feels more south shore LI than snobby north shore which is probably why I love it so much. The menu has a little bit of everything and everything we saw coming out of the kitchen looked amazing. We ordered tacos, five different tacos so we could try a bit of everything. From the perfect corn tortilla to the pineapple toppings, everything was fresh and delicious. The owner Tracy came over to welcome us to his new spot and express his gratitude for giving the new spot a chance. Our server Brennan was working a busy lunch shift mostly solo and he still delivered a top notch experience. Very happy with our new discovery and we can’t wait to go back!“

And here is a secret...It was affordable. The food was incredible and plentiful. Great Chefs. Another secret...add the raw oyster station. We went with 100% out of doors and it was spectacular. Fits 100 easily. Places for shade and sun and a great gazebo for the ceremony. We can't recommend it more. We did our wedding but this could have been a 50th birthday just as easily. Another secret is bring your own acoustic player for the music. We had a friend play and it really set the mood for the day. So, The View in Oakdale is a perfect spot to start a life together, party for someone reaching a milestone or hell, just a great happy hour with friends on the water.“
