“Went there off-season so our experience was definitely subpar. Service was pretty gruff, we felt like we were disturbing the locals. You'd think they would be more welcoming when business has slowed dramatically. More than half the menu was unavailable so I just had the Schooner burger with blue cheese crumbles. It was good, not great. I imagine it's a better time experience during the summer, so YMMV.“
“I went to Schooners with a large group for a late lunch and they were extremely accommodating and the service was extremely friendly. Great spot to get some food and drinks and enjoy a little view. Can't go wrong with a mudslide and some waffle fries!“
“Had a performance here labor day weekend it was a blast. Love the lil cat walk they have in front of stage to move and interact w the crowd. Staff was amazing and the owner was very warm and chill. Awesome spot to hang for the summer w live music and great drinks“
“Was in there last Thursday...vibes were absolutely vibing. There was a big dude named slooty (sp?) and another bartender named Billy working. When they played unwritten the crowd went nuts. Make sure to try their specialty drink the 'Zippy'. If you're out in fire island and looking for a good time...this is the place to be“

Food, drinks and dessert was delicious.Wheelchair accessibility: Yes I would say this is a wheelchair accessible. Double doors,ground level. There was a couple of people in wheelchairs when I was there.“
“My boyfriend and I love Buttermilk’s! It’s one of our absolute favorite date spots. Perfect for breakfast or lunch! Extensive menu of food and drinks with a lot of creative specials! There’s usually a wait when we go, but we never wait as long as they tell us we might have to. The atmosphere is amazing, the staff is friendly, and the food is AWESOME! I never write reviews for places but Buttermilk’s deserved the A+ review!“
“Spacious yet cozy. We came in the final hour before closing after attending a wake in the area, the staff were friendly hospitable and the food was fresh, plentiful and delicious. Happy to hear another location of The Shed, closer to me, is coming soon.“
“Can't say enough about Terence and his crew (especially Kim!). Great vibe, nice people, fun decor (and talented art work that rotates monthly on the walls). There is always a fun movie playing, when there isn't some game show or trivia night...but that's cool too! Never disappointed and always happy we went!“
