“The place was hopping, and we were seated 15-20 minutes past our reservation, but the service was great (shout out to Jackson, the hardest working server ever)! The fried calamari is huge (4 people), and my scallops and husband's burger were delish! The main reason I gave 4 stars was that the crab cakes weren't great (should use jumbo lump).“

“On the advice of a friend who regularly visits Fire Island, our family of eight, including a four-year-old and an infant, had an amazing dinner experience at Albatross tonight. I was somewhat apprehensive because the restaurant's Google rating was lower than that of another restaurant where we had had a disappointing lunch the first day of our stay. So I wanted to write my five-star review as soon as possible.

Our positive experience began when we dropped by during the afternoon to get the hostess's advice on how to procure a table for eight people -- without a reservation! -- on a busy Saturday night. She told us that if we came before 6:00 they would probably be able to accommodate us.

This is exactly what happened. When we arrived we were immediately seated at a comfortable table near the window. The attentive waitstaff quickly took our drink orders and, shortly thereafter, our meal orders.

I was worried that our small children might become difficult while we ate two courses (starters and a main course). However, our server brought our starters quickly, and the main course soon after clearing our dishes from the first course. The timing was perfect!

The food was perfect, too. I enjoyed my New England clam chowder, one of the best versions I've tasted. The table shared top-notch oysters, steamers, fried calamari, and Buffalo wings. Our mains, which included grilled fish, linguine with white clam sauce, and penne with vodka source and grilled shrimp, were uniformly excellent, with quality ingredients and preparation. For example, the grilled broccoli that accompanied my barramundi was so flavorful that it transcended the norm for this standard vegetable.

With our meal we enjoyed a bottle of white wine at a fair price.

This review may sound too favorable to be true, but it accurately describes our experience. I recommend Albatross wholeheartedly.“

“My Husband and I stumble across this place tonight and couldn’t be happier about it! From the moment we walked through the door on a busy Saturday night at 7:00pm we walk in simply based on a great name! The hostess Deanna was lovely and welcoming we were able to sit right away! The food was absolutely amazing and so were the drinks!! But the star of the show was the staff our waitress Emily was the best we have ever had! Just the right amount of attentive that we never looked for her and always felt taking care up. The busser also did an amazing job never a dirty plate on our table. “First time there tonight for a birthday dinner. WOW is an understatement. Sat outside with a beautiful sunset view. We had the short rib special, the sea bass and the swordfish entrees and they were delicious! The mussels in white sauce to start and the (clearly) homemade peanut butter and chocolate & carrot cake desserts were phenomenal. Our waitress Jaimie was the BEST-so sweet and welcoming-all of her recommendations from cocktails to entrees to dessert were spot on. We can’t wait to come back!“

“My boyfriend and I dined this past Saturday at Tellers to celebrate his birthday. We made a reservation ahead of time and because of this we were seated immediately upon arrival at a cute corner table inside of the Gold Bar section. Although it was a bit crowded at the bar thankfully the noise level wasn't too bad. Our server Robert was amazing from the beginning and made the experience that much better! The food was absolutely delicious!! We both got filets that were cooked to perfection, the mashed potatoes were so creamy and smooth and the five cheese Mac was my favorite for sure, it was so flavorful and luscious. I believe it was one of the managers that checked in on us mid meal and made sure everything was to our liking, which it was beyond our expectations. My first few visits I had the same server named Annie! Now I request her every time. I come in with a party over 8 every time and she’s always on point! Annie is great and I hope to continue coming here and having her as my server. She provides amazing service every single time and never is rude. Definitely recommend tiki joes as a place for families.“

“My husband and I have been eating here pretty much once a week for almost 20 years. We usually get take out and create our own in home date night. By far the freshest and most delicious sushi we’ve ever had. Period. They keep the menu very clean, as opposed to other places we’ve tried where everything is caked in sauce and all just taste the same. You will not be disappointed.
Favorites: Alan roll, Peter roll (as for extra sauce on the side), Cooper roll (not on the menu but was on their old menu. You can still ask for it) and the deep impact.“

“On a Tuesday night in Brentwood, Long Island, I was driving aimlessly, looking for a nice place to eat and perhaps write a review. With no particular destination in mind, I spotted a beautiful place illuminated with lights and a spacious parking lot. Curious, I decided to stop and take a look inside. That's when I discovered this amazing restaurant and bar.The atmosphere inside was incredibly friendly, cozy, and warm. I placed my order and was served by a wonderful young lady who went above and beyond to provide exceptional service. The food was not only delicious and delightful but also beautifully presented and tasted amazing.Around me, there was a family of six, including a young girl, probably around 4 or 5 years old, who was charming and filled the place with laughter as she played. To my left, two Gen Z college girls, home for a school break, were enjoying their meal and sharing laughs.This place offers a unique experience for anyone looking to have a great time and savor the beauty of life.
