I really liked the Ocean Beach FI Sand Bar. The staff were so accommodating. The food was good and the drinks were made so well.

The Sandbar - Fire Island offers a great location with breathtaking views, especially at sunset. The food is delicious, with highly recommended shrimp tacos, grilled octopus, and a really tasty crab cake appetizer. The grilled shrimp is really good, though the cheeseburger was described as terrible, undercooked, with a hard, tasteless bun and no flavor. Service can vary; some reviews mention friendly, informative service and excellent service on the patio, while another notes a disappointing experience with an awful waitress who disappeared. The restaurant is difficult to find for an out-of-towner due to very small signage. Inside, there is a cute little boutique with a very distinctive, strong smell of sewer. The restaurant has resin table and chairs.
