“Great place on Fire Island with fantastic views of the water. The food and drinks were made perfectly! Delicious Hideaway burger and Korean chicken! The Rum Punch was very fitting as the restaurant and bar have an island vibe to them. Will be back again next time I come to Fire Island.“
“Came here for Sunday of the holiday weekend. Great atmosphere and awesome service. There were two bartenders, both super friendly. The guy bartender was dressed in an awesome 4th costume, and made us the BEST rocket fuels. I would come again just for him. He made our experience amazing and was not only friendly but very accommodating. Come here!!!“
“Went there off-season so our experience was definitely subpar. Service was pretty gruff, we felt like we were disturbing the locals. You'd think they would be more welcoming when business has slowed dramatically. More than half the menu was unavailable so I just had the Schooner burger with blue cheese crumbles. It was good, not great. I imagine it's a better time experience during the summer, so YMMV.“
“Castaway fried rice, as a worker on the island you can get a little lonely sometimes. But when I'm lonely you know what's there for me? Castaway fried rice. When I was sad and didn't think I was worth a dime? Castaway fried rice, what comforts me before I go to sleep at night? You know it. Castaway fried rice.“
“I went to Schooners with a large group for a late lunch and they were extremely accommodating and the service was extremely friendly. Great spot to get some food and drinks and enjoy a little view. Can't go wrong with a mudslide and some waffle fries!“
“Very pub looking place with a lot of regulars. Food was reasonably priced all of their salads especially the salad specials are exceptional. My husband opted for the Poké bowl and I had that quinoa salad with grilled chicken. Both were tremendous and reasonably priced. Service is always great and I make a point of eating here anytime I am in Ocean Beach.“
“Super fun spot. This was THE place to be every night we were here. Tuesday night, we cane for Bitchy Bingo, with drag queen Ariel Sinclair, which was hilarious. Then Wednesday, we came for "Wisdom Wednesday" with singer Victoria Wisdom, another male singer, and saxophonist, all of whom were awesome! Then Thursday, we came for a late 8:30 pm dinner and the Fire Island Follies at 9! Really entertaining. For drinks, the Mermaid Margarita hit the spot. For dinner, loved my scallops, and my husband really liked his linguini with prosciutto, sausage and pistachio cream sauce.“
