“We've been to the Lake House many times. The food is always good. Service was good. I thought prices were very high as compared to the portion size. I don't know if I will be returning any time soon and judging by the relatively empty dining room, maybe many others feel the same way.“

“We went for my Mom's birthday dinner and we had a good time. Our server Spencer was lovely and the place had a nice atmosphere despite the lighting. It was very empty this Sunday evening but it took quite a while for our meals to come. The food was great with decent portions for the price. The chicken meatballs were filling and the passion fizz drink was tasty.My mom got an orange and vanilla creme brulee for her birthday on the house that she absolutely enjoyed. Just wish they had more non pork options and meals more kid friendly on the menu (we weren't the only party with children while we were there so definitely considered a family friendly establishment).“

“From Christmas week, 12/26.I'm a bit behind with Burger reviewsThis burger was awesome.I have been here before, last September, but did not post a review here about itI ordered it my usual medium rare, and they cooked it exactly the way I liked it.The meat blend they used is spectacular....It really hit my tastebuds the right way.The bun was fresh, a bit soft, but held up well against the juicy burger..The price was right , $14.50 WITH bacon and cheese.The fries were crispy as I like them.My dining partner had the French Onion Soup, as it was one of the Specials. She said it was up there with one of the best she's had in a while.The service was great!!! Our waitress was quick, professional, upbeat, and funnyIt was busy, as they have a few popular specials on Tuesdays, one being a $22 porterhouse.. “This place is outstanding. The drinks, the entrees , and most importantly the staff is incredible. Everything we had is delicious especially their espresso martinis & their margaritas. Also ordered Cheesesteak in a wrap instead of bun.Very good.Also ordered the chili, it was ok. I like my chili with a little more veggies and beans and a little more soupy. This was like an Italian meat sauce consistency and a bit too tomato-y if that makes sense . The place is cute and the staff was friendly and helpful in describing the food. “WOWZA. Tula’s was truly an experience that we will repeat! We were there for date night and my husband and I ordered the Mezza to share. OMG! It was fabulous-I loved the variety and tastes of this vegetarian platter. We had dinner and drinks and coffee and not 1 negative thing to say. Roman, our server was wonderful! They made our evening even more fun! Thank you!! Can’t wait to come back!!!Vegetarian options: I love the vegetarian and vegan options. I am mainly plant based but enjoy a fish when I go out. Got bottomless mimosas but they didn't put a pitcher on the table, they came around and filled the glas instead which was a little weird and Inconvenient. Food and atmosphere was good tho! “If you are on the island anywhere, make a reservation at Sand Castle. Chef Noelle Grant is a magician with textures and flavors and her staff is attentive and respectful. The view is stellar. Every meal is a highlight of our annual vacation. Not to be missed!“

“Wow, wow, wow! The entire experience was spectacular! We got to see a gorgeous sunset over the bay right from our table. Our drinks (Blue Cheese Martini and Spicy Mezcal Margarita) were fantastic..not too salty, not too sweet, just right! The service was impeccable. Our server, Regis, and the host, Ron, were super amicable, pleasant and accommodating. For apps, we ordered the Ceviche special, the margarita flatbread, and the Mussels Marine…all I can say is WOW!! Sooo good!! So good that we wanted to take the mussels broth and the ceviche marinade home with us. For entrees, we had the braised short ribs (delicious in a Cabernet reduction), the branzino (so fresh with a light, crispy top) and another round of the ceviche special. The key lime pie with the graham crumble was to die for (we were tempted to order a slice to take home!). “We were promptly shown to our table and the chef/owner came over to welcome us. The passion for his food was evident. The lobster bisque was highly recommended in the reviews and they were 100% right. The best I've had with big lumps of lobster meat. Everything else was as delicious and enjoyed by everyone. “Food can be good at times. You have to tell them to kill your chicken gif if to be cooked properly as well as the vegetables. Also, not the cleanest place at times. Otherwise it's the best in our area. Not many good Chinese places in East Islip, Islip Terrace area.“

“1st time at this place. We were party of 3 and Jess was our waitress. She was so great! She was very attentive to my sister's allergies and always checking on us..Fries, mozzarella sticks, and steak quesedilla were so good.. Drinks were great too! Definitely will be coming back!!“

“The service was amazing! There were plenty of seating options both inside and outside. We sat outside. It was really a nice view, spacious, and close to the bathrooms and outside bar. A must try item here is the spinach and artichoke dip with crab in it. This was by far better than any other dip of this kind in the area. It was a good portion and with other appetizers it could have been a meal. They have both valet parking and there is a lot of for parking.“
