Castaway Bar & Grill is a cozy spot with delicious Castaway fried rice that brings comfort. The setting is lovely, and the service is professional. During happy hour, the dozen oysters for $1.50 each are a hit, especially the traditional oysters on the half shell. The chicken sandwich is a popular menu item, often described as very big, almost big enough for two people, but excellent. The Caesar salad is a solid choice, though not a must-have every time. The fried rice is a good alternative to fries as a side. The atmosphere can be lively and loud, making it difficult to hear at times. Despite this, Castaway offers a great casual dining experience, and the staff is consistently accommodating and friendly, especially the bartender Jemele, who has impressed customers with his great service.
