My mom attempted to use her Carvel gift card today around 12pm but the staff (girl) told my mom that she cannot use the GC to shop today without a reason. This is ridiculous and I’m not recommending dis Carvel (Carman Ave).
Thanks for your response, owner. But I have to mention some points here. First, your day shift staff didn’t mention the GC machine was not working to my mom. She only told my mom they do not take gift card today with no reasons. Second, it was interesting that your evening staff seems like does not know that the GC machine was down too cos I just called in 30 minutes ago and told her the GC issues happened in the afternoon. She responded she was not there in the afternoon, so she does not know what’s happening and she can’t do anything. After a minute, she called back and said the manager told her the GC machine was down. I’m wondering why the staff did not know their GC machine was not working until now🧐very interesting.

The new owners are so incredibly nice! When in there today and they were so sweet and helpful. They made the ice cream cake look amazing for my mom. Such a better experience here since new management!

So amazing! Their new management is extremely friendly and I even had a few conversations with them! Highly recommend checking them out if you've never been before, or had a bad experience with them. I heard that the old owners were not friendly, but the new ones certainly are! Also, the icecream is delicious! I bought a cake for my friend and it was decorated exactly how I wanted it to be!

Under new management, this Carvel has truly transformed! From its previously mean demeanor to now being clean and amazing, the change is remarkable. The staff is incredibly friendly, the ice cream is delicious, and the atmosphere is inviting. Five stars all the way!

This is one of the dirtiest carvel chains I’ve seen. Broken down machines, dirty floors and counters were a disaster. The staff was very inattentive and seemed to be more amused with their visiting friends than take care of customers. Milkshake for my wife was basically just milk.
