This was my first time at Famous Dave’s in Westbury and it was great. The food was delicious and definitely the highlight of the experience.
The way they do service is a little different and kind of confusing at first, but I actually liked it. You order and pay at the counter, then the food gets brought to you. It was nice not having full table service and avoiding the pressure of a big expected tip.
It did take a little while for the food to come out, but once it did, it was fantastic. Based on the food alone, I will definitely go again.

Ugh... This place is circling the drain. They are severely understaffed. Front of the house appears to be 3 people. I'm sure the kitchen is just 1 or 2 cooks too. If you sit on the bar side , you get table service from the one bartender. If you sit on the table side, you have to give your order and pay to the sole maitre d who also will bring the food. Now the food. I am a pit master and I try to avoid BBQ restaurants because I'm a tough customer, but I was with 3 friends who chose the location...poorly. We got their big sampler and it was crap. The actual BBQ meats all had no smoke flavor. Everything felt like it had been held a loong time either at temp or reheated. The chicken was partially bad. The brisket was held well but only tasted of salt. The corn was originally cooked days ago. The beans were good and the coleslaw didn't offend. Edible, but not outstanding or even average. I did visit this restaurant many years ago when it first opened and it was a different vibe . There were knicknakes that gave character, but all are gone leaving the place sterile. I guess sold off for $$ and because there's no staff to clean? They still have restrooms, but this aren't very clean either with grubby floors and over full trash cans. This is the restaurant equivalent of a grocery store that can't afford enough stock to fill the shelves, so fronts all the shelves in hope the customer won't notice. We noticed. My guess is there will be a new concept in this place before long. BBQ is best from local owned shacks, not sterile chains anyway. It requires soul to be good and this place is completely soulless! Avoid it.

Food was ok. Not authentic BBQ if that is what you are looking for. Brisket was not juicy. I would not go again.

OMFG I honestly would give this place 10 stars.. Tried it for the first time yesterday and my husband and I truly enjoyed our lunch.. One of the best meals we had in quite some time.. We ordered the $50 meal for 2.. The brisket and country chicken were so delicious.. Cant lie, this has become my top restaurant chain.. We WILL be back.. 🖤

Food came out cold. Not sure if it sat on the pass for too long or the aluminum trays weren't warm. Flavor was there and the sauces were great. but the meat was below room temp.

Pick what you want pay and seat yourself makes this place a hit with lil ones. Food was good and music not too loud in the back sections

Walked in maybe 30 mins prior to close (we didnt know) - offered to leave if it was too late. The host said its fine so we placed an order, took a seat. Food came out the pickles seemed like they were fried with leftover oil and was so burnt and hard. The sandwiches were inedible as they were so hard and one didnt even have any thing on it (literally was just bread and chicken).
Fries were bland. Only thing that was good were the corn bread and cheese curds.
My food is always good when I go Usually get the Cue Combos Pick 1 with some extra corn or the Feast for 2

Went for the 2 Meat Combo for Lunch. Corn bread still good, chicken is crispy, and surprisingly not crowded. Place is clean and food is good. Staff is friendly and had a satisfied time eating.
