The only reason for 3 is the good value of the lunch menu we took advantage of. The review would be lower for all other factors, albeit since some friends died, we haven’t been there in years.Except for a small full service area m, part of which has bar type seating at uncomfortable tall tables (uncomfortable for dining that is), you must now order electronically before sitting down, meaning you can’t relax and consider the variations, particularly if the are more than two diners. For the brisket dish the pieces are very thin. Again, it’s a special. Worse, no coffee service!!! No relaxation! Sadly this once fun restaurant has morphed into a casual food restaurant like Cayote, Cava, etc. However, for those who remember the relaxing full service restaurant as before, two stars is the best we can say.

If you want to hate a restaurant come here...food is good but the experience of going to a restaurant stops here...you enter and have to order your food and drinks after that you get a table...no waitress..just eat and go home...you better off with take out...

Not sure how this establishment maintains 4 stars. From start to finish this is one of the worst barbecue experiences I’ve ever had. You order at the cashier when you first walk in, know what you’re ordering or stand there with the menu in your hand while you figure it out. When the food arrived it looked no better than barbecue food from TGI Fridays, Applebee’s, etc… Then I tasted it and realized it’s actually worse than TGI Fridays and Applebee’s. Nothing was fresh, good, or even of decent quality. The ribs at chain restaurants are 3x better tasting. Mac and cheese was bland. Brisket was edible at best. The rolls were burnt (waitress even wanted us). Nothing was hot. I didn’t watch them cook it but I wouldn’t be surprised if everything frozen and packaged based off the taste. 2 entrees and an app was $75. I felt like I was ripped off. I want to clarify because I was under the wrong impression; this is not a quality restaurant with quality food whatsoever. Smelled weird inside and half the restaurant was taped off due to empty seats. For the same price you can go to a real barbecue restaurant like smok haus, with fresh food.

At lunchtime today it Was not busy. We did have an extremely long wait for our food after ordering even though very few customers were there. Food was good but not as hot as I Would have liked. Maybe it was done and sitting too long before bringing to us.

Ordered thru grubhub and was missing 2 drinks, 2 salads, and a desert item. Called Famous Dave's and the Famous Dave's member pretty much didn't care and said you ordered thru grubhub that's what came to us. The receipt had one missing item which he again said call grubhub. Other places at least apologize and attempt to right the wrong. Will never order from Famous Dave's again or dine in ever when it reopens. Grubhub refunded the missing items T $16.

Recently (2024), we went back to at least dine in. Have to say, the new way to dine in is a giant turn off. You can either sit down in a small area and have wait staff or order your food first then sit down. I wish they would go back to the traditional old way for dine in. I love BBQ but i go elsewhere for it. I havent even redeemed my birthday coupon as wilbur member.

Was very disappointed. Used to go often with my husband who has since passed. Went with my son. Was looking forward to it as I've wanted to go back for a long time. I remembered it as being delicious. It wasn't like I remembered. Doubt I'll be back.
