We had a wonderful experience at karahi Adda, Thanks to Imran the master chef and owner for always making sure we get the best food and service. Chicken and goat karahi, chicken malai boti, cheese kababs and bihari kabab were 10/10. Must try 💯

Karahi Adda is hands down the most authentic and best Desi food spot on Long Island. Master Chef and owner Imran truly goes above and beyond to make sure every dish is full of flavor and every guest gets great service. From the karahi to the lamb chops and the BBQ, you honestly can’t go wrong with anything on the menu. Everything is consistently delicious. A must try. highly recommended!

Today we went to this restaurant. The food here was really good. We all really enjoyed it, especially the Achaari Gosht and the Chicken Karahi. The Chicken Tikka and Chicken Kebab were also very delicious. Everything was just amazing!

Could’ve been a good place but they charge around 10 bucks for one singular kebab skewer and it doesn’t include any rice It only has a raw salad which has raw onion and raw carrot slices. The pricing is way too off and the food is ok compared to other Pakistani/desi places. And this was dine in so the service fee was 20% I can only imagine how much they serve you for takeout. And not to mention the service. The “waiter” who was also the cashier was somehow extremely shy and there was no language barrier they just don’t want to interact almost and no one checks up on you even if you wave at them. The place looked nice inside though.

This is my second time coming here and although the food is good, it’s ridiculously pricey for small portions. I mean for just one appetizer, one entree, 3 naan, and 2 lassis, i paid $110. I could order more entrees somewhere else and still pay less than $100. On top of that, they don’t offer water and charge $3 for ONE bottle of water.
Probably won’t come back here.

We ordered the chef’s special chicken karahi, chicken seekh kebab, and malai boti. Unfortunately, all the dishes were below average, and the portion size of the karahi was especially small. I wouldn’t say we hated the food, but overall it was seriously disappointing.

The only standout items were the butter naan and tandoori rotis. They were genuinely very good and clearly the best part of the meal.

The atmosphere was decent and the staff was polite and decent. However, paying over $140 for this quality and quantity of food did not feel worth it.

Last week, I had the pleasure of dining at karahi Adda -Pakistani restaurant in New York, and it truly felt like a home away from home. The flavors were authentic, with a perfectly balanced blend of spices.

We started with chicken drumsticks, lamb chops, and cheese kebabs, all of which were delicious. For drinks, we enjoyed refreshing mango lassi and mint lemonade.

For the main course, we ordered mutton biryani, mutton karahi, and kabab karahi, paired with soft butter roti and the best garlic naan. Every dish was full of rich, comforting flavors.

Overall, it was a wonderful dining experience—highly recommended. 5/5

Very predatory pricing.

My wife and I came here for lunch and ordered a single main dish to share. The total came out to about $70, which is honestly shocking. The karahi dish alone was $40, and it doesn’t come with any rice or naan. Butter naan was $5 each.

There’s no tap water either, so you’re required to buy bottled water at $1.50 per bottle. On top of that, gratuity is automatically added, nyc tax, and then at the very end you find out there’s an additional 3.5% charge if you pay by card.

So the prices listed on the menu are not the real prices you end up paying. Many NYC restaurants factor credit card fees into their pricing. Here, it’s added on top, after everything else.

We’re spending Christmas in NYC and have been eating out a lot — Indian, Thai, steakhouses, you name it. Not once did we spend anywhere near this much for a single dish at any other restaurant.

This place seems to use every possible tactic to extract extra money from customers. Very disappointing experience.

I noticed lately that they been serving less chicken biryani than usual and most meat mostly have bones and are small pieces . Biryani tastes very good but it’s a bit change from before especially when the price is already high , the quality of all the kabobs and all the dishes has went down tremendously . This could be possibly due to the owner not being around . The waitress also don’t keep an eye on the customers if they see the customer used up the napkin at least go and bring some extra napkins instead of being on the phone and chit chatting . It doesn’t make sense to add a 15 percent extra tip dining fee if they exhibit this kind of behavior . I hope this place changes otherwise it says a lot about the place and the owner thank you
