I recently stopped by La Sevillana Bakery & Restaurant in Westbury, Long Island, and decided to try a few of their empanadas: beef, cheese, and chicken.

The beef empanada was a standout—perfectly seasoned, juicy, and paired beautifully with their house-made green and pink sauces. The cheese empanada had a nice flavor, but I felt it could be improved with either a bolder cheese choice or a touch more seasoning to make it truly shine. The chicken empanada was flavorful and tender, with just the right amount of filling to crust ratio.

Those sauces—especially the green sauce—were absolutely amazing and elevated every bite. The restaurant itself was clean, well-kept, and had a welcoming atmosphere. The staff was friendly, attentive, and provided quick service.

Overall, I enjoyed my visit and would definitely return to try more of their menu. La Sevillana delivers on flavor and hospitality, and with a small tweak to the cheese empanada, it could be perfect across the board.

The food is great, the service is friendly but the atmosphere is not comfortable, a lot of music at breakfast. Lunch or dinner seems more like a bar-restaurant, a lot of reggaeton and many times at mealtime it is not comfortable, so much noise is not good, so much music from Sunday to Sunday at least . You should consider leaving the music on certain days anyone who visits this bakery and closes their eyes can easily believe that they are in a nightclub, it is not good.. thank you and I hope you take this suggestion in a constructive way

Colombian snacks, delicious, the bonus bread is delicious and the saleswomen are very friendly, there is also a daily menu with hot Colombian soups, I like it

Great counter service location. I love the jasper Hills Mac and Cheese. This location is a little out of the way, so it doesn't get too busy, and it's located next to a couple of decent and interesting shops to check out afterwards.
