The food was tasty, but I saw a baby cockroach running on the table. Apart from that, everything was fine.

Very cozy & comfortable Turkish restaurant in Westbury.

Good food, good service, & amazing baked breads. ??

Really enjoyed our evening here and glad we made the trip. Just the Balon bread baked to order was worth it.

The Balon bread was impressively big and still hot to the touch. Just WONDERFUL ??

The bottled beer was okay. Venue is
Very warm & inviting. Easy to sit here and have good long conversations. ??

1. Firstly We were forced to buy their water (Large bottle) they said that they don’t serve city water.
2. Everything is super overpriced.
3. Their menu items do not match to their pictures, in meanwhile we ordered Hummus where the bread was super OLD & DRY and then i ordered a chicken shish kebab which at the picture is chicken chops.
4. They charge 3% of Any Debit-Credit card fee which is against the law (including your debit card that they don’t pay that 3% to their credit cards processor fee)
5. They don’t even ask just charge you 20% ugly service fee.
6. Finally where we got wrong food, and I offered to pay for the humus then the manager said it is on the house since i refused to pay the service where i was not happy at all.

NO THANKS.

We usually frequent Kabul kabob across the street on post ave. Always saw this place so decided to give it a try. Should have known something was up when they put the big bottle of Poland spring on your table in lieu of tap water. I mentioned to my wife (we will most likely get charged for this but whatever’s. They do the same when we traveled abroad)
Menu has decent selections but kind of on the pricey side. Waiters told us of the specials and took our orders. They then asked. “Which salad would you like” and we were offered two options. They way it’s asked of you it implies it’s part of the meal. Turns out we were charged 17 dollars for a small plate of veggies doused in olive oil and seasonings.
The food was ok. Never had Turkish so nothing to really compare to. The flavors were good so no complaints on food quality
We asked for the bill but the waiter was very pushy abt ordering dessert (which we declined a few times)
We get the bill and I noticed an 18% service charge on the bill. I know places usually do that for parties of 8 or more. Never have i seen that for a small table. Was kind of a turnoff. That’s when we saw the 17 dollar salad and the charge for the water.
Overall I felt pressured sales tactics thru out the meal. Similar to when you walk into a car dealership. I find their methods very sneaky and somewhat shady in order to get as much $ out of you as possible.
This place can go on my list of one and dones. Food was decent but I cannot give my business to a place where they conduct themselves in a dishonest way

Food is meh and pricing is sneaky. As the waiter took our order, he asked if we wanted salad which we thought came with the meal. But when we got the bill, we were charged $16.95 for a small salad. It's a small plate of cucumbers, tomatoes and onions that sb no more than $5. They also placed a bottle of Poland spring on our table and billed us $2.50. Lastly, they automatically added 18% tip for a party of 2. Even when they asked us about dessert, they were pushy and trying to up sell. This place is a money grab!!! Will not be returning and do not recommend!

The food was wonderful! We had a Sheppard salad and Lamajun. BEST Turkish food outside of Turkey.
Why I will not return is that when we sat down a large bottle of water was placed on the table. The menu price was $4.50. I Sent it back and order my husband a Turkish beer instead. I thought it uncouth to assume I will pay for a large bottle of water without being asked.
Then when the bill arrived they added and 18% gratuity and again did not ask. Nor was this mentioned on the menu. I have never been to a restaurant where a gratuity was automatically added for 2 people.
At the end of the day I saved money because having been the owner of a 5 star 5 diamond restaurant for 18 years I have always tipped generously. Perhaps because I sent the water back they viewed me as cheap?
It is really unfortunate that I won't return because the food was that good. FYI, I lived in Turkey for numerous years.

Sunday was my first time going to the kebab house, and it did not disappoint. The portions were a great size, and it tasted like I was in Turkey! My family brought in 2 bottles of wine, which they provided an ice bucket for. I suggest getting any lamb dish. 10 out of 10 !
