I went to Monroe’s for brunch with a group of 11 people to celebrate a birthday. David and Frank were our servers and they took amazing care of us. Our whole group did the bottomless brunch option and our glasses were never empty because they were quick to refill them. They also continuously checked on us to make sure we had everything we wanted. The food was great! I had the sliced steak sandwich, it was delicious. The french fries and home fries were exceptional and perfectly seasoned. Everyone was happy with the food they ordered. I highly recommend visiting Monroe’s. We will definitely be back!

We did an event for out Sorority here. It was a pleasant experience. The food was good and was refilled several times. Service was buffet style, and the wait staff were helpful. There was a bar where drinks could be purchased. When we gave speeches, we asked for the speaker's music to be lowered, and it was. My only slight issue was we had a curtain that separated us from the other party, so there was competing noise. But they left about an hour after we arrived. Our space was semi-private so that was to be expected. Otherwise it would get 5 stars.Parking: There is a free small Parking lot behind the restaurant. Maybe can fit 10 cars.

It was my first time visiting Monroe's and I have to say it was fantastic. We were there for a brunch for my sisters 50th birthday and the food was very good, the service was outstanding, and the atmosphere was perfect. I would like to return for either lunch or dinner but I highly recommend the brunch.

Monroe's is a must visit! I am so thrilled that Tesoro's former executive head chef, Hoss, finally has his own place!!! He is the best Italian chef on Long Island and I have loved his cooking for decades! The menu and food at Monroe's is absolutely fantastic! From the moment you walk in the door, you are greeted by friendly staff and impeccable service. To start, we ordered the baked clams and mussels marinara and couldn't be more pleased. For dinner I ordered the special which was branzino livornese and I was thoroughly impressed. My husband raved about the special he ordered which was rigatoni with shrimp and lobster. There was nothing left on his plate or I would have loved to try it for myself. All the seafood was cooked perfectly and flavoring was superb. The menu has something for everyone and you can tell they use the freshest and highest quality ingredients. We can't wait to go back again! Thank you for a delicious meal Hoss and all the lovely staff at Monroe's!Kid-friendliness: We brought our 3 nephews aged 4, 7 and 9 as well as our children who are 10 and 13. Amongst them they had chicken fingers with fries, chicken parm, penne alla vodka and pizza. They also devoured the tartufo for dessert. They all loved their meals and were treated so sweetly by all the staff, specifically Frank and Joseph. It is perfect for date night and/or family night. Can't go wrong! There is something on the menu for everyone!

A great experience. When we arrived, we were greeted with a smile. This served as norm for the evening as the food is excellent, the portions terrific and price very affortsble. Definitely will return to sample more of their culinary experience. .

Food and service was great! The atmosphere wasn't to my personal liking. The band playing that night was beyond talented but was way too loud for me.

We have been many times for brunch and decided to try again for dinner. So glad we did. They had just changed their menu and, on a Saturday night, were willing to present a choice from their online menu which had not yet been updated to match their in-house menu. So, sole oreganata with shrimp was very good and made my guy smile. My pappardelle with short ribs could have used a sprinkling of chopped broccoli or palmful of peas. Prices are good and service is on point. And I was very happy to see them get very busy as the evening progressed. Offered live music but it was starting just after we were ready to leave.

We found this place before going to a show at Westbury Theatre. What a find! There was a great selection of food and a lot of great specials. The lobster bisque was luscious with several large chunks of lobster. My husband had clams oreganata for his appetizer and raved about the garlic breading and freshness. For dinner, I had a stuffed shrimp special which was also made oreganata style. It was delicious. My husband loved his steak cooked perfectly. My mother in law had a pork medallion special made in a chestnut sauce with mashed potatoes. She also loved every bite and I have to add that this mashed potato critic gave them an A+! Soft, creamy and seasoned just right. Kudos to the service you get here. Everyone was so attentive. Although this is a drive for us, anytime we go to see a show from now on, this is our place! I highly recommend.

We had the dinner at this restaurant on a Friday 3days before Christmas. The first thing we saw was a Monroe status at the door. When we walked in it's warm and cozy. There were only 2 or 3 tables of customers having dinner. Our server is friendly to welcome us and lead us to the window table. It's a comfort zone.We ordered a French onion soup, Monroe Medley, a pork chop and the Pappardelle pasta. Except the soup( a little to vinegar and sour to me), everything is delicious and savory. We will bring out family here again to other different dish.
