We stopped in here for pho and my daughter got ramen. The prices cannot be beat, the lady who served us was very sweet and attentive, and everything was absolutely delicious! She said they make their own broth here too! My daughter also got the Yakult drink with strawberry boba and it was very refreshing and tasty. Loved this place to eat at during the week, surprisingly we were the only ones there but it was 8:00 PM. Definitely recommend, tasted amazing!
So this place is take out only and it is definitely not authentic Vietnamese food at all! We got the summer rolls, special pho, and curry chicken rice noodles and we did not enjoy any of these items. Special pho came with beef balls and chunks of beef; the rice noodles were all sticked together on the side. Curry chicken noodles had chicken, potatoes, and rice noodles in a coconut based soup. The broth tasted ok but the potatoes and chicken were so dry and overcooked. Summer rolls came with a side of peanut sauce which tasted a little off to me. Overall, its not an authentic vietnamese place if you’re looking for one.
take out only....would've been nice to at least post it...?
Pho Maxia has gone down hill and probably because the restaurant has been sold to a new owner who has no clue what Vietnamese food is all about. I can almost guarantee the current owner is not Vietnamese. The basic garnishment for all items are none existent (basil/hoisin sauce for pho, cilantro/cucumber for Vietnamese banh mi/sandwich). I mean come on it's the staple of Vietnamese food for God sake. The chicken curry is water down diluted and salty as hell. The Vietnamese banh mi/sandwich was also salty as hell with missing cilantro and cucumber. The shrimp summer roll peanut sauce was disgusting no where close to 99% of the Vietnamese restaurants that is out there. I am Vietnamese born and raised and I can make most of these dishes with my eyes closed and the items that I have order is an embarrassment to the Vietnamese standard/culture. This restaurant should be closed if not it needs to have a real chef that know what Vietnamese food is all about not cheap smack together ingredient and call it whatever you want for a buck..People who eat at this restaurant and thinks it's the best thing ever need to get out of their bubble and explore other options. There are other Vietnamese restaurants on the island then this one and one restaurant to be mention is Saigon Casa which is a little out on the east end but definitely worth the drive.
Quality of this place has really gone down over the last two years. The last we had the spring roll and pho beef noodle soups. Spring roll tasted like it had been fried and retried again. Not fresh at all. The pho broth was utterly bland and weird tasting. Low amount of meat and noodles tasted like the frozen kind that was months old. I can't recommend this place for food at all. I would be embarrassed to bring people I know here.Only redeeming thing is the people were nice and friendly. Owners if You're reading this. You need a new chef and fresher ingredients. Maybe it's time for you to downsize your menu so you can consistently get fresh food out.
Food had no flavor. It was a take out and all the side ingredients needed to make the pho was not provided. Food tasted like eating water with noodles. Wasted $54
A real gem of a restaurant. Everything on the menu is great, and reasonably priced.
The taste is horrible, the pork tastes really starnge. Will never order again. Not recommended.
My favorite Vietnamese pho restaurant and the people that work there are very nice definitely recommend.
Used to be my favorite Pho place but went downhill. Pho doesn’t taste like pho, no flavor in spring rolls or summer with a salty peanut sauce. Ugh so sad to see this place change so much.

Absolutely the worst pho in NY.
The soup and spring were very good
The Pho Special and Shrimp Summer Roll are my favorite. Pork chops and rice is good also.Keep local restaurants going ?Quick take out service-just call ahead of time.Too bad it’s not close to my home but will travel for their yummy food.
If you are Vietnamese you will stay away the food is nothing close to it name omg Bún Bò Huế is nothing like it and the Phở is nothing look and smell like Phở they gave me a tiny bag of bean spout and no Thai basil wth , Vietnamese restaurant cook by Chinese .
I’ve tried this place twice. The first time I believe last year I ordered from door dash. I didn’t like it. I ordered it today thinking maybe they had a bad day the first time. I think this time was worse. The broth for the pho was so bland, you can tell from just looking at the color (or lack there of) of the broth, it was almost clear! The beef satay rice was drowned in peanut sauce it almost looked like soup.
