Been coming here for a few years now. Food is pretty good but not as good as it used to be. I still make the trip once every month or two and usually get empanadas, baked chicken, plantains, and mac and cheese. Everything is usually delicious except the chicken is always a tad dry, yet still the skin is too thick, not cooked down enough. I still enjoy the meat though with their green and pink sauce plus it’s the only place I know to get Dominican food on the Island without having to go through too much or travel too far. Also, I love their cana splash drink, so delicious. Service is alright, nothing spectacular. Atmosphere.. well it’s a small place with a few tables. Overall, it gets the job done when that craving hits!

This is my go-to spot whenever I finish my Costco run.
Spanish delis and storefronts that serve hot food aren't uncommon in the area, but it's always nice to have a place that consistently delivers high-quality food.
I almost always order the pernil burrito. The saltiness of the pernil and the sweetness of the plantain pair very well for a delicious bite. It's always a bonus when they add ripe avocado. Definitely recommend it!
If you are somehow still hungry, you can't go wrong with a small platter of arroz con gandules, beans, and chicken. The small plate isn't small; the servers always pack it to the brim, so you get your money's worth. The chicharrón bites are especially good--they're fried perfectly and have the right amount of fat.
Bonus tip: if you live in the area or drive by around closing time, they are active on the Too Good To Go app. You get a LOT of food, enough for a family.

Good place food is consistent
The food is good but the manager Stacy and catering service is terrible. I always order and bought food for my events here. Not anymore as long as this manager is working here. Food is delivered late. If you pick up is late. And they give you the bags missing the items. When you complain they said "it's your fault if you want come back again...."
Stacy lacks a lot of customer service skills.

They do not know how to make tostones/fritos, I had the shrimp bowl which was ok but the side of yuca fritas were called and old, had been sitting there for a long time, Fritos were full of grease/oil inside because they put them in the cold frying oil, didn’t wait for it to come to the right temperature which is the key point !!!

I found this restaurant on social media and I was excited to try them out. I was expecting to enjoy authentic Dominican cuisine, but I was disappointed. The food didn’t capture the true flavors of Dominican cooking. The dishes lacked the rich seasoning and depth of flavor that I associate with traditional Dominican food. Unfortunately, it didn’t meet my expectations for an authentic dining experience. My burrito ? was missing the avocado ? which I was charged for. The morisoñando tested awful and the chinola juice does even taste like chinola.

I hate giving bad reviews, so I’m just going to say what the good about it. The best thing I had at this place was the soda (coke), they didn’t even have Dominican sodas.

Tasty and hot just as I like. My daughter wanted pork chop and I asked if she could have a fresh one. They made a whole batch and my daughter enjoyed that tasty sizzling pork chop with delight. The empanadas are big and delicious ?

For almost $30 u get a small thigh and drum of chicken with a full amount of rice. What a waste of my hard earned money. Thanks and never again.
Food was so good! The woman who helped us was very professional and helpful. So much food and the prices were not bad either! I will be back!

I've been going to this place for many years now. I remember when they first opened for business The owner was always present. The portions were 2x as much for a better price. Now I feel that it is over priced for 2x less food and the quality and quantity has diminished over time. I still go here sometimes on my break when I don't bring food from home but it's not the same. Eso balsa de mamañema tan muy? cariñoso ???? sorry but only ⭐⭐s
