Delicious food! I loved the pineapple teriyaki burger and my husband had the crab cake. Excellent service and the views can’t be beat. This was a wonderful stop on our drive along Lake Champlain.

Delicious- Creative- Food all with a great water front setting. Exceptional services in all respects. Just one block East of the main highway on the water in a marina. Wonderful spot for us, we will be back and we will bring friends.

Food was ok. For what they had. They were out of alot even burgers? How can a restaurant be out of burger? Said they had a busy weekend.then go to Sam's and buy burger to get by..out of drinks ,the service was so so..never got the chicken in the Alfredo..we all ate at different times ..just a bad experience.
Here for 2 days by boat and ate at the restaurant, twice. Food is just OK if what you want is available. Brittany, a server was 5-star ... she was attentive, engaged. apologetic and made the meal service acceptable. Food, a lot of fried stuff and Cisco prep. Next day, the meal and server was abysmal ... the server was a real ditz ... she couldn't remember beverages, order, place settings even after asking 3 times to repeat our orders. Half the menu was not available. A tad pricey for the food and service ... it's a work in progress, post Covid.
I was driving through Westport on a Monday and decided to try The Galley. I was the only customer inside (there may have been some on the deck). The good part was that the waitress was pleasant and my food came fairly soon. The food was okay. The bad part was the flies. I boxed it up and took it home right away. I could see that the kitchen's outside door was wide open with no screen. I spoke to an employee who said he would tell a manager. Judging by all of the other reviews here, I doubt it will make a difference. The menu was cut down from the normal. I think they just don't care. The bathroom was gross. The paper towel dispenser doesn't work, so they have a roll of paper towels sitting on the sink area. The toilet stall doors were open and multiple toilets needed flushing (which I did). Outside the kitchen door two employees sat the whole time buried in their cell phones, is as everyone these days. They needed to be cleaning. I had been hoping to try a place I hadn't been, but I wouldn't recommend this one.

This was my first visit to The Galley. The food was delicious and the view was amazing. We will visit again.
Closed up for the season. I was there twice last year, both times had a great lunch at a reasonable price. Google maps and the Galley Website indicate it was open last week, where in fact, it is closed for the season after Labor day.
Avoid the gumbo. That being said, we had a table for 2 right on the lake side with a killer view of the Green Mountains, the staff was friendly and attentive, they had a great selection of local brews on tap, and the burger and fries were fantastic. Quiet, family-friendly place.
