“I stopped in after a day of moving. I wanted something quick and craving chicken wings. I ordered a dozen medium hot. Took them home to eat. I've always had excellent food from here however I was disappointed. They were meaty. But they seem like they were "next day" wings when we heat them up in the oven the next day. I ate 5 and stuck the rest in the fridge. I enjoyed them but disappointed. I know this place can do better. I'm very impressed with their subs definitely fresh ingredients. I'll still go there to grab a meal. But I know they could have been better.”

“I've been the yacht club a few dozen times over the years and there is simply no better place on the west side of Lake Champlain. The setting alone is world class, set out into one of the largest lakes in north america, looking out at the green mountains. The food and drinks are consistently wonderful. A summer destination not to be missed.”

“Food is a little boring. Offerings and preparation are just too plain, simple. Since food is the most important thing to me for eating out, the overall rating was therefore effected. The service, people could not be better. On the other hand, this is a place for people whose prime reason to be there is to have a bite after playing a round or two of golf. And, in that way, the menu certainly serves the purpose. I would like to see it move into a primary restaurant attraction....s.”

“WOW! The last time I had Mexican food this good, I was in LA. Fresh ingredients and dishes that you can tell are made with love. It's worth the drive. If you have a large party (6 or more), call for a reservation as the dining room is small. Most locals do take out.”

“We went there based on a friend's past experiences, the staff was nice but after that was where it went bad. The waitress asked us to order apps and entrees together ,so we did . We ordered 3 1808 burgers and a steak fritz ($36) , 2 of the burgers were burnt and tough , 3rd burgers was cooked to order , Steak had more inedible fat than edible meat . Also took over 1 hr for the food to come out . The place only had about 15-20 people in there while we were there .We had reservations for 5pm when they opened .Top 5 worst steaks I've ever had.”

“We were there today and brought home the turkey pot pie and the lamb hand pie. Both were delicious! we will be back! Between the Pink Pig cafe and the Essex Ice Cream cafe, there are two excellent choices for a coffee, breakfast, lunch or snack. what a cute town too!”

“The Old Dock has re-opened. Food is very good, drinks good as well. Scallops were great. We used to go to TOD back in the late '80s and '90s, and it seems this re-boot could work. Looking forward to live music and cold beer on July 4th.”
