“This is the best restaurant in Addison County and beyond! The bouillabaise is so good! You can tell the chef loves to cook. Even when it's busy like it was for college graduation night, there's an intimacy and an ability to have conversation without shouting. The staff are so kind and friendly.”

This establishment isn't just a restaurant; it's a celebration of fine dining and a testament to the magic that happens when passion meets plate.Let's start with the libations. Each bite is a blend of crispy, chewy, and melty perfection. And let's not forget the desserts. The Tillerman excels here too, offering exquisite desserts that strike the perfect balance between indulgence and elegance. Not too sweet, each dessert is crafted to be a fitting finale to the meal, leaving you satisfied yet yearning for more. The Tillerman isn't just renowned for its culinary delights; it's the warmth and hospitality of the staff that truly sets it apart. “Our server Sara was outstanding. Articulate and kind. I think the only thing I'd pass on is that in the main dining room when all the tables were full, the noise level became so overwhelming that we all felt like leaving. We had finished our meal and had enjoyed the evening though. Also, my husband is a vegetarian and there was only one dish that was fully a vegetarian dish. Perhaps more selections for vegetarians.”

“Lu Lu ice cream is amazing! They have a great variety of unique flavors that are always delish but I’m especially happy that they carry ice cream that isn’t made with cane sugar since I have an allergy to it. I can finally have ice cream again and Laura knocks it out of the park with the honey lavender or bees knees flavor ? we just checked out their pop up brunch and they continued to crush it with the flavors. We had their loaded tater tots and vegetable quiche and I would come back every weekend just to enjoy these and try the other items on their menu. This is a must visit spot if you’re in the area.”

“Nikki did an amazing job with our frilly retro 70s wedding cake. It looked incredible and tasted as good as it looked, she matched the reference photos perfectly. Our guests loved the vanilla lavender flavor, it was just subtle enough that it wasn't obviously floral and everyone was asking about it. Their coordination with our venue also made everything so easy, it felt like the cake just appeared. Thank you so much!!”

“Great experience getting to know their cider. Besides offering a tour, there is a bar inside where they offer a great variety of ciders. Very diverse clientele (young; middle age and older people), all together in harmony and in a chill place. Great location to have a drink if you are driving by. Only suggestion: it would be nice if they have few more options for snacks! But what matters? You are here for their great cider and not for food!”

My order took about 35 minutes which I was totally fine with. The gentlemen who helped me felt bad, thanked me again and threw in two extra homemade cookies. Not expected at all and a very nice gesture. Now for the food.....It was amazing! I had the fried chicken sandwich and bought a few baked goods for my family at home. Prices were very reasonable and food 10/10. We will definitely be back. Thanks for a great experience!”

Vermont Hard Cider 1321 Exchange St, Middlebury Cideries

“As a Vermonter, Woodchuck is the first cider I started drinking (and my favorite). I now live in the Chattanooga, TN area and can only get limited flavors. On a recent trip to Vermont my goal was to go to the cidery and do some taste testing and buy some cider. My friend and I split 3 flights and I bought 3 different ciders. I also learned that Woodchuck is the only importer of Magner's cider, my other favorite. And, psst, they bottle all of Aldi's cider too! (Though they aren't supposed to tell you that, the address on the label says so.) The production line wasn't running, unfortunately, but it was cool to hear how much their production has increased. Now all we need down here is a distributor who'll bring us better selections!”
