First, the staff is incredibly competent. The wait staff has been “over hired“ meaning that there are plenty of people attending to customers needs. Secondly, the kitchen staff works miracles with the food they prepare. Finally, the owner is gracious, inviting and warm. Restaurant only: Food was outstanding, service was top notch, but our table was really close to a very loud wedding reception, so every time the door opened (every 30 seconds or so) all we could hear was loud party music. We also had to park in a muddy field, which wasn't great either. Really took away from the ambiance and wasn't as intimate as we were hoping for. This is the best restaurant in Addison County and beyond! The bouillabaise is so good! You can tell the chef loves to cook. Even when it's busy like it was for college graduation night, there's an intimacy and an ability to have conversation without shouting. The staff are so kind and friendly.
