This is the best restaurant in Addison County and beyond! The bouillabaise is so good! You can tell the chef loves to cook. Even when it's busy like it was for college graduation night, there's an intimacy and an ability to have conversation without shouting. The staff are so kind and friendly.

First, the staff is incredibly competent. The wait staff has been “over hired“ meaning that there are plenty of people attending to customers needs. Secondly, the kitchen staff works miracles with the food they prepare. Finally, the owner is gracious, inviting and warm. All in all, one of the best culinary experiences I’ve had in eastern North America. And this from a guy who has dined extensively in Montreal, Boston, New York City and so on. I’ve only been two or three times, but each time was complete perfection.

Restaurant only: Food was outstanding, service was top notch, but our table was really close to a very loud wedding reception, so every time the door opened (every 30 seconds or so) all we could hear was loud party music. We also had to park in a muddy field, which wasn't great either. Really took away from the ambiance and wasn't as intimate as we were hoping for. Fantastic meal, but for the price I wouldn't recommend it to anyone on the same night as a wedding.Noteworthy details: Wouldn't recommend the restaurant on the same night as a wedding. We had to park in a muddy field and our table was so close to the reception that we were listening to their dance music all night

My husband and I attended a wedding here over the weekend. Christine was warm and welcoming from beginning to end. The venue was beautiful, and the food was amazing. The bread is PERFECT. The "Hers" drink during the reception was a hit. If I'm ever in the area again we'll be back!Rooms: The rooms are elegantly modern and very comfortable!

My husband and I recently got married at Tourterelle, which was recommended to us by a local vendor who enjoys working with the venue. We actually booked it without seeing it in-person, as we live out of state, and were floored when we came to see it in person. It was the perfect balance of elegant and down-to-earth for us, and exceeded both of our expectations. The bridal suite/inn is absolutely GORGEOUS and I was so excited to have my bridesmaids stay there that weekend. I received feedback from guests that this was the best wedding food that they had ever had, and they have been to many weddings (agreed!). Christine was wonderfully accommodating and on top of all of the details the day of the wedding, leaving us to just be able to enjoy our day. Would definitely recommend to prospective couples. Big thanks to the venue for making our day so special.

We had a wonderful dinner last night at one of our favorite restaurants in Vermont. The meals were the best that we have had in recent memory. The drinks, Boulevardier and Manhattan, were also excellent. Christine and her staff do a wonderful job of insuring a great dining experience. Exceptional cuisine and service in a delightful country ambience. We have been coming to this restaurant for many years and it still lives up to its reputation as an exceptional place to dine.

Server was nice except know that you'll be rushed out. The manager came and told us that there are other people waiting for our table. Food came out in an hour, within 20 minutes, they tried to run us out the door. Not to mention there were other customers that were there when we arrived still eating. I couldn't understand why they picked us. Perhaps skin color? Definitely, we will never go back or recommend this place to anyone else.

Tourterelle has long been on our list of restaurants to visit when we visit the area. The atmosphere is comfortable French modern (not pretentious in any way). We have never had anything less than wonderful. I highly recommend the Steak Frites or the Bouillabaisse!The owner, Christine is absolutely fabulous. All the servers are professional, helpful and very friendly.I highly recommend this restaurant!

The service was disappointing as the manager approached our table while we were enjoying our drinks to inform us that other guests were waiting for a table. This made us feel rushed and uncomfortable during our meal.To add to the disappointment, the quality of the food fell short of expectations. The dishes we ordered were not up to par, lacking the flavors and presentation we had hoped for.Overall, my visit to Tourterelle was marred by subpar service and underwhelming food quality.
