Can't beat this place for the real deal Italian sandwiches. Good people and great food what more can you ask for. Lucky to have them in town.
Best gazpacho I've had. Lovely cold salad displays and I'm going back for fresh fish.
I wish I could give out a rare 6 star review. Today, my friends and I stopped in for an early lunch and were blown away by Costello’s.
To begin, the restaurant/market offers a welcoming and warm vibe with plenty of selection of wines, pastas, oils, treats, and deli selections to regularly purchase at any time. Things are clean, well organized, and presented well.

Costello's Market is a highly-recommended spot in Middlebury, with owners who are extremely nice and food that is amazing. The "to go" food is exceptional, with dishes made in-house, including fresh pasta and mini beef Wellington. This place is an amazing hidden gem, serving top tier fresh fish, salads, and other goodies, like the broccoli salad. The pate sandwich and traditional Italian dishes are also standouts, making it a great spot for a satisfying meal, with friendly owners who are hands on and pleasant to interact with.
