Food is a little boring. Offerings and preparation are just too plain, simple. Since food is the most important thing to me for eating out, the overall rating was therefore effected. The service, people could not be better. On the other hand, this is a place for people whose prime reason to be there is to have a bite after playing a round or two of golf. And, in that way, the menu certainly serves the purpose. I would like to see it move into a primary restaurant attraction....s.
Went to the Mother's Day brunch today and it was outstanding. Great breakfast and lunch selections. The food was fantastic, the home made deserts especially the strawberry rhubarb bars made by Robin were fabulous. The staff was friendly and the atmosphere cannot be beat. Will definitely dine there again and again.

It is past the summer season and there are not many dining options in town, we appreciated the hearty welcome.
The view from the restaurant was gorgeous- we saw 4 deer on the golf course.
