The worst food experience ever had. The food was from freezer and chicken shish kabob right from the frozen from super market. The more I write it making me feel sick. Overly priced the frozen food.Better to buy from food cart .
Came to eat here, arrived by 11:45 am. Doors were locked and no one was answering the phone. Not sure why they would say they open at 11:30 am if they don’t actually open at 11:30am.
Let’s gooo Anar/ India Cafe!! They give you the 2 year old menu for India cafe and start charging you Anar prices! The guy got upset when ICorrected him and refused to pay $20 extra. Dw! I still tipped him well!! I wasn’t being cheap but being real with them!! His words “we are notPrinting any new menus right now but these are the prices (that he charged after the food)” Mango lassi not even fully filled, and charged $5-$6 idek!! Be careful!
Kerala meals. Superb. The fish curry and beef is amazing.
Wow. I expected so much more. Do you remember “jaw breakers,” well that is what there falafel is like. No tahini with it but maybe something like hummus. The Chicken Irachi Puttu was interesting, but could not really figure out what was in it. The chicken shawarma platter tasted like Shop Rite Rotisserie chicken cooked to a leather like inedible consistency. If you want good shares check out Irvington Delight. Oh yeah, their falafel are “Au point” (on point, as the French would say!
Fast order ??The food is very wonderful, I really imagined that I was in India, thank you to all the workers in the restaurant
Great food, but they take long time to make it.

This restaurant is not Anar. It is called India Cafe. While I was excited to try Anar, the restaurant I walked into, India Cafe was also good. The service was quite slow, I wanted to get dessert but it was getting too late. The food was great and I’d return, especially to try dessert. I had the malai kofta and saag paneer with a coconut naan and mango lassi. All fantastic. They have a place a few doors down for take out and delivery orders.
falafel was a little dry, tahini sauce and hummus were amazing though. pretty good
Great food! We loved the Dosa's and the staff was very nice. Among the most authentic Indian food we have had in a while.
Great food! As Indians we are always super picky about Indian food and can honestly say this place was delicious. We had Dosas and Idlis and the Sambhar was among the best we have had!!!
Standard Indian fare at reasonable prices. Lunch service was rather slow.
