Very mediocre food. The pernil was over seasoned and tasted like un-rendered sazon. Side of “red beans” was really a giant tub of bean liquid with maybe 2 tablespoons of actual beans. The maduro were flavorful but dried out from one too many reheatings, and the rice was not fresh at all — super dry. Would never return.

Excellent food with a combination style restaurant. You can sit down and order food or you can grab hot premade food at the counter to go.

Super nice staff! In my opinion food needs some more spice, for my taste. A flavor punch. Everything is cooked ao well and pretty. Large portions!

I ordered a chicharrón mofongo and quipe and both were really good. I thought the price for the food was fair and they gave me a good portion for the mofongo.

Good Dominican food, special Dominican sancocho and asopao, mofongo and yaroa.

Parking: It’s in the back there are a few spots you have to turn way before the restaurant back on Martin Luther blvd then follow the little street back and around to the back of the restaurant. It’s the last parking lot before you see the Ritz.

New management not authentic dominican food, service took about 40minutes and only two families were at the location at the time. Oxtail definitely needs some seasoning. If you are meal prepping or getting ready for a bodybuilding show where you want to stay away from salt and seasoning come here and eat some clean dried up dominican food.

Underrated! Ordered from the menu, dine in, every dish was a hit: lobster paella, pernil mofongo, chicharon pollo. Service was extra bonus. Generous portions for the $. Will come back again.

Was so excited to try this place based on the reviews. I ordered ahead and got the quarter chicken with yellow rice. Unfortunately, the yellow rice was not good. There were tons of little hard pieces of rice mixed in and they were hard to avoid. The chicken was good, not the best I've ever had.

The stuff were friendly and attentive, however

I went to this restaraunt with a co-worker for lunch and sat at a table. We gave our order to the server and the food never came back with our food.
After 40 minutes we needed to get back to work, we inquired at the counter for our food and were made to wait another 10 minutes before 1 of the orders came out (we asked for a "to go" container). Waited another 5 minutes for the other order of food to come out and it never did, so we left to go back to work. It was pouring rain outside and the place was empty so I am not sure what the hold-up was with the food. Food was decent but I have had better Dominican food. Might be better off ordering the premade behind the counter rather than the made to order food.
