Everything was excellent. We spent more than we expected, but price would be the same in any good steak house. A gin martini was excellent, all the sides were excellent and no need to mention the various cuts of meat we had... all excellent. Service was impeccable.

I have been here numerous times and the food is always great. Service this time around was sub par. Very slow taking orders, cleaning off appetizer and dinner dishes and never refilled water or wine glasses. Yeah, that's picky but when your paying $80 a plate on average, without drinks, apps, desert and coffee, the staff should be very attentive. Valet didn't even bring the car around for an elderly couple, just pointed at the car (yes it was close, but again elderly}.

This is a fabulous place to have a gathering or a twosome. The stakes are fired to perfection and are sizable enough to be shared. Paired perfectly with a Merlot.Parking: No problem.

First time at the restaurant. Had we been in the main room the din would have been almost unbearable. Too many tables too close together and not enough sound abatement. Out on the perimeter area it was just fine. The service was superb although it was odd no one came to ask if we wanted drinks for a good amount of time. They were very busy so maybe that contributed to that situation. The food is excellent and we were not rushed at all.

Took my best friend to celebrate her birthday, her first time, she loved it! Loved the crust in steak, crab cakes and the wine! Ty for the candle on the cheesecake and the digestif after!!! Will be back

We celebrated our mothers 85th birthday, which was a blessing in itself to be able to do, However we were never asked whether or not we wanted continuous WATER what was supposed to be glass still water poured, we never witnessed a bottle being opened AT ALL so for all we know the 8 bottles of water they charged us $87.60 could have clearly been TAP. #2 We ordered 5 orders of Mashed Potatoes that definitely was NOT fresh boiled potatoes, Powdered most definitely (sadly) and we were charged $74.75 word to the chef ( adding alot of BUTTER will never make them pass for fresh potatoes). #3 the 2Lb lobster i was charged $79.95 was extremely RUBBERY and CHEWY, i actually threw it up in the bathroom sink it wouldnt go down. #4 One of my family members requested to change her lobster salad to a 2Lb lobster and was told by the waiter that she couldn’t because the order was put in for the salad which was shocking because you would think it wouldve been fine because it was more money and it was literally 7 mins after she ordered and it hadn’t gotten to our table yet, however she dodged a bullet because it was horrible. We didn’t complain in front of my Mother because we didn’t want to spoil her day in any way. Even though Ruth’s Chris & Z Prime, Fogo DeChao's are her all time favorites to celebrate her birthdays she was willing to give Benjamins a try. Lets just say she enjoyed the (Cakes) we brought her more than anything. I was previously in Restaurant Management for over 25 years i know its not a easy task, but for those prices and the 20%TIP it shouldve been much much better, Highly Highly DISAPPOINTED ☹️. Unless the entire staff & management gets retrained and that includes the chef, we will never return and if anyone ask we will NOT suggest Benjamin’s ever. You guys gotta do better. Honestly its 2024. Now you know so you can do better.

The food wasn't as I thought it might be with all the hype. The ribeye had a charcoal burnt taste around the edges. The creamy spinach was disgusting. The lobster Mac was ok, I've had better. It wasn't worth spending $505. I would go back only for the romantic fireplace atmosphere but not for the food. The staff were very attentive. Not sure if it was because they were rushing to get us out and go home.

Very hopeful for a "special evening" at this well-known spot. Extremely crowded room, but was near the fireplace, so a good start. Service, slow, pleasant. Repeated upselling on the alcohol was the most consistent part. But it's the food that was the disappointment. I wish the waiter gave us input: You need to know that the steak for 2 is porterhouse. Had we known, we would have ordered , but it's not on menu. I found out by asking people on the way out what they were eating that looked good, so i now know. I guess you have to be "in the know", but we are not, just simple people looking for an upscale experience.Shrimp were the best part, large, firm and two nice sauces. Caesar salad had a nice taste, but romaine was entirely limp; they must prepare a batch of it at the outset of the night and use it for the night, not the right way to serve Caesar, which should be freshly made. I ordered the ribeye, medium rare. It came late, overcooked, and the "eye" was rubbery, hard to cut. The knife was actually dull. I wouldn't say a word, to upset my boyfriend who was kind enough to take me here. The Benjamin's own steak sauce is essentially sweetened ketchup, hence I had to get up and get an A1 from another waiter on the floor. The fries were good, in the style of Nathan's, though no one compares with Nathan's. Spinach was unique, like a spinach porridge, wouldn't get again, but worth a try. Cappucinos, too cold for my partner to drink. All in all, not so special, nice, pleasant food but not "great" food or "great" steak. Not any better than a good diner, not as good as a very good diner. And not a "great" value for that price. Still on the lookout for "greatness".

It breaks my heart that I feel the place scored so low. I love going there and will continue going for a special treat. But I won’t try it again on a holiday. Unfortunately the next time we want to go out for an exceptional steak dinner we’re going to look around. My wife is a carnivore and wants to eat before the nighttime so I made a reservation for 4 pm. No problem they were happy to take the reservation but then the little annoying texting started along with phone follow ups. Honestly I don’t need 5 contacts to remind me I have a reservation and about the menu and about the cost.So we get there and everyone was very pleasant. There were over a dozen staff hanging around, some others busy getting ready. No lack of staff as I’ve come to appreciate from the past. The problems started from the moment we were seated at 4:10. We were left unattended for 15 minutes before we got around to bringing our water and bread which we had to ask for. Then again left for another 15 minutes before we were able to get someone to come take our order. Now I can see this if they were busy but they weren’t. We were the only ones in the room and they had a dozen staff standing around chatting. At every step of the process I had to turn around and get someone’s attention to come to the table. Now to be sure once I got someone to the table all the staff were very pleasant. But we sure felt awkward and abandoned alone on a raft with no more bread and nothing else to eat. Oh by the way the olive oil never came.So having made our order finally we asked about the children’s menu and if they had chicken and fries. The waiter told us he would check right now and let us know.Another 5 minutes later I called someone over and inquired about the chicken and he assured us yes.By the time our meals arrived it must’ve been an hour and I could see that other tables had arrived and were being served. Now as for the meal.It was absolutely delicious, cooked with perfection. Completely up to our expectations for a top quality steak house. The mashed potatoes and spinach were a little on the loose side and a tad too salty for my taste but still very good.I guess my point is this. I don’t mind spending over $400 for a good quality meal with an outstanding experience. But if you’re not ready to seat people at 4 PM just don’t or at very least let them know during those many follow up contacts that they are going to have to wait. It just takes away from the expected experience.

Went to benjamins for dinner with my husband. It was very crowded and tight seating however the drinks were delicious- our appetizers came out quickly and were very fresh and tasty. The main course was steak, perfectly done to the temperature we chose and served and plated at our table. Dessert was beautiful and decadent. Aside from the busy noisy restaurant it was an incredible food experience!

We love this restaurant because the service is always extremely good and the food is delicious! The particular night we went was extremely loud, we had to shout across the round table to hear one another. We were anxious to leave because of the noise level. It's not always like that there though.

We had a business dinner of 4, and it was quite difficult to hear one another. Service was a bit slow. Food came quickly. We were not followed up with to check in for most of the meal. It was an average dinner. Nothing special. I recall the NYC location to be much better than this one.

Got sat at a table that clearly shouldn't have been crammed into the space. An attempt was made to fit as many table as possible which resulted in us being sat directly next to the server's computer and excess chairs. As every single server went to use the computer, they made great effort to dodge the extra chairs, which made them collide into our table almost every single time. Very unsettling to constantly have your food shift from the table being jammed every 3 minutes.
