I enjoy real steakhouses and dine at least once a month at different ones... NYC / Westchester / Fairfield. I feel if you're going to charge $130.00 for a steak it should be a great steak this place just isn't that place.

Went there for a birthday dinner. Would not recommend- at all. Steak was dry and just terrible. The only thing I liked was the grilled asparagus but at the cost of the bill, and the fact that it's a steakhouse, that is severely disappointing. We even had to request our own water, absolutely no attention to detail by the waiters. The only reason they are getting 2 stars is because of the ambience. Even that is still disappointing considering we had a huge hole in the seating area next to us!

Nice restaurant, food was okay. 2 rounds of the same drinks - however the 2nd drink (for all 3 people) was filled with juice and tasted totally different from the first one . This location is closing so I guess they don't care. Decent restaurant but def not worth the price.

After trying to change a reservation for a party of 5 on a Saturday, I was able to make one at BLT very last minute. I read the reviews and was optimistically hopeful as the complaints ranged from lack of flavor to a crazy-loud atmosphere. We were :20 late for our reservation due to an accident - so I called ahead to let them know. They were very accommodating and even changed our reservation for us. I hadn't been to BLT in probably 5 years....so I wasn't sure what to expect. Clearly, the hotel changed and the design. We were seated in the back against the window and had good service. Started with some wine, pineapple margarita and a cranberry gin drink. Very good. The table started with Caesar and wedge salads and thoroughly enjoyed the popovers with butter and kosher salt. We had 2 orders of filet mignon and 3 NY Strips. Some cooked medium and medium rare. I have to say, I've been to more steakhouses than I can recall...many are flavorful but aren't cooked well. This was the first time in a long time that I truly received a medium rare strip. The meat was tender and flavorful. I will say this- the entire table agreed that the meat was so tasty in that it stood out on its own. Meaning it's not super seasoned like some steakhouses. Some revived the red wine sauce and some had fresh horseradish. I was really pleasantly surprised. We got some sides that were all really good. Also, don't be shocked when the bill arrives. We opted not to get dessert and they brought out complimentary "brownies" which were not good. Worst part aside from the bill

We were very impressed by the attentiveness of the staff, including the manager! The atmosphere was relaxing and the food was great. We would definitely go back to try other dishes!!

Food was fantastic as always and our servers were fine but it took 3 hours on a Wednesday night. Everything took very long to come out. Overall good experience. Everyone was very nice. Would go back again.

We loved everything about BLT except for the steak itself which was just mediocre. Attached to the Ritz-Carlton hotel, the restaurant decor is modern and cool though I suspect can get quite loud when at maximum capacity. From the moment we walked in, the service was incredible--as attentive but non-obtrusive as you'd find at any fine dining restaurant in the city. Moving on to the food, we started with a chef's choice amuse bouche pâté that was delicate and delicious. From there came the famous popovers and they live up to the reputation. We also ordered the double-cut bacon appetizer and while we we're somewhat skeptical when we saw the chimichurri-like salsa verde served on top, it was a pleasant surprise. We'd go back just for the bacon and popovers. The main course was NY strip (more on that in a minute) and our sides were the whipped mashed potatoes and Brussels sprouts. Again, both were outstanding! The sprouts were particularly memorable with chunks of bacon and a light sweetness (maple syrup maybe?) that was just right. Dessert was a lemon sorbet and the dark chocolate gelato. Both were very good and a nice way to end the meal. Unfortunately, the steak was simply not good. Ordered medium rare both were cooked to the right level internally but were over-seared on the outside. Rather than a nice crust on the outside, both were burnt wit the burnt flavor to match. The fact that both were cooked the same way, makes it seem like this preparation was deliberate. Cutting into the strips we found both to be tough, chewy and without flavor. The only saving grace on the plate were the two sauces--the classic bernaisse and a red wine reduction. As much as we loved everything, for a restaurant that calls itself a steakhouse, with high prices to match, we simply can't recommend BLT.

I Would Like to 'Whole Heartedly' recommend BLT. Caryn and I eat at BLT once a week. Staff is Great from the Maitre d' Barry and his assistants to Oscar and Jamal and the entire Wait Staff. Love the Consistency of the Food and the Ambience. Just the right amount of bustling but never too noisy. --It is 100Percent 'Go-to' Spot! --------Jordan H

Food was outstanding as always. My wife had a martini to start which was impeccable. We also tried the Sancerre and the Malbec by the glass and again outstanding. Food choices were the tuna tartar filet mignon, Brussels sprouts and potato skins. All exceptional. BLT is really our special occasion place. A pricy meal worth every penny and then some.

Wonder setting for a great steak dinner. Service was often excellent and sometimes missing. Outside of the uneven service was the surprise $15 parking fee that no one told me about.

We hosted a rehearsal dinner at BLT Steak and it was a wonderful experience. My son's wedding was in the Westchester area and the Opus hotel was the home-base for the wedding party and many guests. BLT was chosen for the rehearsal dinner as it had a private dining space, steakhouse menu and location within the Opus ground floor. We worked with Anthony, private dining manager. He was very pleasant and accommodating. The food, service was everything that I could have hoped. I would definetly recommend BLT steak for private event.

An excellent steakhouse dinner with uneven service. It would be nice to receive an itemized check for the dinner instead of just a credit card receipt. Also, one should be warned and not surprised by the $15 charge for parking your car.

My sister, daughter and I had a fabulous dinner. The service was spectacular thanks to Devan our waiter!! He was so personable and had a fabulous sense of humor! As a resident we will definitely be asking for him to wait on us again he made us feel very homey - it was delightful to have him as our waiter!! Can't wait to go back again!!!
