Caperberry catered a small event at my house. The food and service were wonderful. Worth every penny to have them make the party a success for the guests and host. Highly recommend them.
Sam's is consistantly terrific! My guests and I are no longer young, and we were offered 2 tables, 1 in the private area near the host and 1 in the larger restaurant area. It was done so graciously; we chose the quieter room so we could hear one another! The food was terrific, as always and the wait staff, knowlegable and accommodative. And, of course, having the rear parking makes it the perfect place to go.
Prices have slowly risen to the point that this is no longer a casual place for dinner. Not worth the money any longer.
Surprisingly, the place was empty for Sunday brunch. The waffle was soggy and not great. The eggs Benedict were fair; hollandaise sauce was sparse and thin, and the eggs were barely warm. Brunch prices are not cheap, but it does come with a bloody mary or mimosa, so not as bad if you would order one.
Wonderful service at this restaurant. They aim to please. Great for families and the ring ding dessert was awesome!
We always love Sam's! We go there fairly often and are always greeted like old, special friends. The clientel and staff are always friendly and food is always good.
A bit pricey for what you get. Sam's is effectively an upscaled diner, with good food, a broad menu, and an attractive facility. But, given the price points, it isn't that impressive.
Service was excellent as always. We were disappointed that only arugula lettuce was available for the salads, no iceberg as requested. Many dishes had a number of spices and ingredients that needed replacement or elimination and while we were accommodated some of the changes to specific items created the need to order a different item. Ordering became a needless struggle.
The food was excellent! I and one other of our friends had the shaved Brussel sprouts appetizer and the pecan crusted chicken. Both were delicious! Another person had the salmon and another the crab cakes. Everyone was very pleased with their selections! The ambiance was wonderful. We were seated in the “room” immediately to the RIGHT of the front door. It only has four or five tables so it was very quiet and felt like a private room just for us as there was only one other table occupied! Service was great! There is a parking lot behind the restaurant with access to the restaurant by elevator. I am handicapped and use a walker so it was much easier to park in the back than climb the 4 steps in the front. However, just to let people know, the elevator door is SO small from the parking lot that a larger walker (4 wheel rather than 3 wheel like I had) could not fit nor could a wheelchair. We had a wonderful evening and will be back!
We enjoyed our meal very much. The waiter we had was very helpful. The ambiance was adequate. Not as romantic as it could be, but nice. The eggplant was good, but could have put an extra piece on the plate. The appetizer and dessert were delish!

Nobody does it better!!! Great atmosphere and equally great cuisine. Service was incredibly attentive and they did not rush us out so the conversation enjoyed all the benefits of a dinner well done! Simply excellent!!!
Warm and inviting. Service is friendly and happy to serve. Food was served quick, hot and delicious. this time was a birthday celebration. next time anniversary. looking forward to it. thank you for such a wondering place to go.
Dinner was terrific. We enjoyed a burger, a steak , and salmon. A portion of the evening's take went to the RDC Center for counseling and the community support and nice ambience will keep me coming back.
We were a table of four and seated in a cramped but private table. Waitress was very nice and accommodating. Food was ok, complimentary cocktail was good. Strangely Brunch and lunch time was pretty quiet. Will return again.
Unfortunately our table was near a group of about 15 people who were consistently clapping, hooting and loud. This is the second time this happened to us. Although they were mostly seniors, they had no regard for others in the restaurant. We were celebrating my wife's 65th birthday. We started with a whiskey sour. The rocks glass utilized was extremely small, filled with ice and lacked a good pour. It was not worth anywhere near the $12 charged per drink. We had the special of Prime Rib which came with either a soup or a salad. We both had the soup which was excellent. The Prime Rib was over cooked for Medium Rare but was tasty. The green beans were very good. Unfortunately the mashed potatoes are served basically beneath the beef and they became soggy and not very attractive looking. The special was $36. The Calamari appetizer was very nice. Our waiter was extremely attentive. It was a birthday celebration and my wife was told "Happy Birthday". A little celebratory piece of cake would have been appreciated. We have frequented Sam's many times over the years but lately it has been a bit disappointing. Very nice atmosphere for the holidays, however.
