Everyone complaining about portions remember the food is weighed. Rice and meat heavy! So you have to keep that in mind as well as higher food prices. Aside from that of your early food good late in the day a lil dry. All in all good experience.

WHAT A JOKE!! I walked in for lunch and walked out with two small plates for almost $60. She told me it’s $39.99.00 a Pound!!! I should have walked out immediately. I got three pieces of curry chicken with some vegetables and oxtail. Not even tasty. No spice whatsoever!!! What’s a SCAM!! Save your money!!!

Really wanted to like this place. But the one thing I cannot stand is needlessly pushy staff - unfortunately, this place specializes in that. The woman who tends to be behind the counter should consider going to work for TSA, or maybe the Post Office, because she seems to LOVE giving odd orders and making requests that I have never been subjected to when entering any other restaurant, bar, or food & drink establishment in over 50 years on this earth. When's the last time someone has demanded you slather yourself in goo of dubious provenance before using their buffet? There is a spigot of "hand sanitizer" by the front door that the woman behind the counter insists on making people anoint themselves in before being allowed to get food. Why?Could be she's suffering from Covid PTSD, but I do not intend to put my hand inside the serving dishes! I'd be using the serving spoon, which by the way is sticky and dirty! I'm also about to take some notoriously dirty cash out of my pocket and hand it to you. Are you going to scrub down yourself after you handle my money? And if not, why not? I'm the unclean one?? Lady, please. Keep your nasty attitude and you mediocre food. She is CLEARLY not the owner, because people who own businesses have a vested interest in not insulting the clientele, and this woman fails that most basic of standards. I'm clean-cut and dressed well (I work in an office), and the idea that i'm somehow unclean (or that I'd somehow become a paragon of cleanliness after using your industrial slurry) is ridiculous. There is a young guy who's sometimes behind the counter - he does not act like this (i.e., he's just a normal person not constantly trying to tell people what to do/not do). Going foward, I'll only step inside this place if that woman is not on duty.I should've known something was up: she speaks with a Bajan(ish) accent, but insists she's Jamaicd

Food is overpriced! Called about lunch special. The lady on the line said yes! When I get there I get a small plate not even full for $14! Don't be tricked by buffet style food. Total scam!! Food was horrible and threw out after 2 spoons.! Nothing special!!! Only thing Caribbean about this food was the nasty customer service!

A disgusting culinary experience🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮
Today was my first time venturing into this place. I inquired about the chicken soup and was told to wait 5 minutes to get it heated up. My first thought was, it's sitting in the pot for a while. (I didnt want to wait so I told the young man, i'll take care of it at work.) upon arriving to the office the container was ICE COLD. This requires a laugh. I did not expect to pay almost $12 for chicken soup and for it to be taken from the fridge. I called the restaurant and inquired if it was cooked the day before and I received an honest answer, that it was. NEVER AGAIN WILL I SET FOOT IN THIS PLACE.

Today was my first time coming I started a new position in white plains the day before and wanted to check out downtown for lunch. I tried going to another Caribbean venue but they were not paying attention to me so I decided to give this restaurant a try. I am happy I did Nensha was very kind to me and served me the food herself. She allowed me to know how many years the business has been there and answered all my questions about the menu. The atmosphere was peaceful with good music playing. It was a great getaway from the office for me for my lunch break. I will come back again and bring my co-workers. The food was authentic and made from the heart. Thank you again Nensha!

The worst beef patties! Dark, unappealing hole in the wall! Even was wondering if place was closed! The lady was courteous and pleasant but food has a lot to be desired. I will not return.
