As one of the few places in White Plains that specializes in cheesesteaks, versus simply having one on the menu, I sometimes go to Charley's simply because they're convenient, and they're not going to make a bad cheesesteak. So, last Wed.,, I needed to run errands that included lunch, and Charley's became my lunch stop. And it was - ok. I got a 9 inch cheesesteak with peppers and onions, a side of fries, and a diet coke that was served in a diet pepsi cup b/c those were the only cups they had that day. The sandwich was the right size to hit the spot, the french fries were freshly fried, and there wasn't too much ice in the soda. All told, a satisfactory meal. It may not win any awards for best cheesesteak in the county, but if it's choice between this and a burger, I'll get the cheesesteak every time.

Would have given more stars if the manager wasn't such a j**** Other than that the food is good. Especially the fries, hot and crispy. I've been here more than once and I get better service when the Asian guy isn't in.

Mind blown! Needed lunch for my team and one of my guys mentioned Charleys. Ordered via ubereats and the food was fresh, hot and absolutely delicious. Well done, Charleys! As another reviewer mentioned, the loaded fries remain crispy and hot even with so many toppings. I’ve never heard of this chain before but if you’re craving a cheesesteak, look no further. Honorable mention for their watermelon strawberry lemonade. Sheesh! So good!

I ordered a chicken fillet sandwich, but I was surprised when the order arrived that there is no sandwich at the base, there is only some chicken and a little salad inside the box, and the worst of this is that I saw an insect inside . Awful service and something literally disgusting,

I ordered a vegetarian sandwich, which clearly states mushroom in the ingredients. The sandwich had barely any mushroom (literally 3 tiny pieces, so I complained to seamless just to get a not so pleasant phone call from the owner, telling me next time to ask for extra mushroom, and that he didn’t care if I ever ordered food from his place again. Well how about remove mushroom from the ingredients. If I wanted a mostly onion, lettuce and cheese sandwich I would’ve ordered just that. (You can see the 3 mushroom SLICES in the picture I uploaded). The only reason I am giving 3 stars is because the rest of the food was ok, and I usually don’t like to harm small businesses.

12/10/21 Usually make my own cheesesteaks but decided to return here after the pandemic. The workers were very friendly and the food and ingredients extremely fresh. The bread was super soft and fresh like a starchy pillow, the meat was tender and the toppings were also fresh. I am deducting a star for the lack of toppings. I requested extra onions and extra mushrooms and if they did put it it wasn't noticeable. In fact I didn't even notice it really in a regular amount. When I last visited which was some time back I must admit, they gave a bountiful amount of onions and mushrooms when I asked for extra. This time; I barely got the regular amount and I requested extra. For the amount I paid for my sandwich I at least wanted to see the topping I requested but whatever. The fries have been improved as they were longer and much more crispier even with the ranch and cheese sauce on it. If you are a foodie reading this then you know how hard it is to get delicious fries with wet ingredients to stay delicious and crispy... THEY DID THAT! I loved the fries even more so because most places that do bacon fries or bacon anything for that matter overwhelm the dish with bacon(yes, this is a thing for some) but not this one. The food was made to order and right in front of my eyes which was cool to watch. Overall; it was delicious and fresh but lacking in the toppings. I always refer people to this place and will continue to do so but I think if I want more toppings etc. I'll just stick to making it at home. OH! The lemonade though... *Chefs Kiss* . For a large drink, large loaded fries, large Philly and a small Philly I paid $25.53 (not exact change).

I got to say, this place that I went to was very good. The staff were so friendly and nice and the cheese steak that I ordered was so delicious. I cannot stop thinking about how good they make this Cheese Steak Sandwich. If any people who work nearby, go to this place for your lunch break and order a sandwich. It is quite cheap and the sandwich is delicious so give it a try. I hoped that I got a chance to go back to try the cheese steak and I did earlier today by having a large cheese steak with cheese fries and it was so good . I cannot think of a delicious cheese steak than this place where they serve the best cheese steaks there since it is nice and juicy. You guys are the best!

On 12/12/2020 I made a purchase of a large drink, fries and a philly steak sandwich. Then, I saw the promotion of downloading the app and get a free drink. I told the cashier that I'll download the app for the drink, he noded yes. However, another employee, a bald guy, said I won't get it because the code on the app takes time. I downloaded the app and I got the QR code with more than 3 hours to redeem it. The employee changed his argument and now said that I have to buy something else. However, neither the app or the flyer said absolutely nothing about that restriction. And is not that is "implied" or "understood" or "low sales" No. That is a direct violation of the advertisement and promotion, there was NO restriction WHATSOEVER. What I just experienced is false advertisement, which should be illegal if is not already. Even though I showed him that he was wrong, with logical argument, with the statement on the flyer and app. He was rude, and I felt insulted in front of everyone. I will tell all my friends, relatives, coworkers to never go back and do business with you.
