Honestly, the food is not the quality for the price from what it used to be. In short, my son and I left with upset stomachs. I should have know better because the restaurant did not even have toilet paper in their bathrooms. A meal for 2 came out to 160. I also did not appreciate the set 20% gratuity. I still gave a cash tip because the server tried.

Don was the penical of dance spots at one point, not sure what happened. They still have the dance floor but the worst experience I've had. Where do I begin. Gary Charles took it upon himself to charge an entrance fee. In which he chose the price, we sent it to his cash app. Staff has the worst customer service in the industry. For 40 dollars, I received 2 house margs with so much sugar we couldn't finish them. The only good thing about the whole experience was taking the 2 glasses and being able to actuallyI dnace. Save yourself the time, the money, the frustration, we work hard and shouldn't be subject to such a terrible establishment. The one in Manhatten was a lot better. Do better, Don.

I recently dined at Don Coqui and had a fantastic experience. From the moment we walked in, the lively atmosphere made us feel right at home. Our server, Jeff, was a standout. He greeted us warmly and was incredibly attentive throughout the evening, providing great recommendations. We started with the frita mixta. Absolutely delicious. Don Coqui delivered an exceptional dining experience, thanks in large part to Jeff’s outstanding service. I highly recommend this restaurant for anyone looking for delicious Puerto Rican cuisine!

Not the restaurant, but the bar and the nightclub are being reviewed here. The bar is very small with extremely slow service and the one bartender I seen there several times already is very inexperienced. The nightclub has security guards that patch you down, but definitely not in the way where you couldn’t bring anything in there. The club is very narrow and long and the service is great. the hookah is extremely expensive and definitely not worth it. Save your money buy a vape if you’re into that and bring it in there with you.

Honestly the food is pricy but it’s good and the atmosphere is very nice - gives romantic vibes. The host we had was very sweet and they accommodated one of our meals. I do recommend this restaurant. Definitely bring a date or a couple friends to party.

Went there for the club with a few friends.. got carded twice.. then got hounded before getting to the main floor to get a table.. which they're charging city prices for (lmao yea okay) and then all my friends got in without being checked but these "bouncers" decided to check me and tell me I couldn't bring a vape into the club and proceeded to tell me I had to throw it out (not happening)... after "throwing out my vape" they then proceeded to check my female friends bag and made her throw out her vape but they didn't check her before... she was not happy.. we're getting ready to leave.. some girl walks up to my boy and pours a shot straight into his mouth and proceeds to hound him for 5 dollars and then says since he doesn't have cash she'll take Zelle.. after that we were done lmfao this place is a joke... the only reason we even went in was because there wasn't a line and we figured out why in less than 5 minutes... I remember when this placed used to be packed. The fact that it is still in business is beyond me I've been there for the food it's Mid at best and the drinks suck too. Stay away from this place it's going downhill fast.

I haven’t been here in over 3 years and honestly I see why. Drinks were atrocious. Ordered the most simplest drink. Gin and tonic. All you tasted was straight gin, it was disgusting. The entire night we had girls coming up asking for shots or hookah when we had repeatedly told them no. The place is completely outdated. Im convinced they hire the bartenders for looks and not actual bartending skills. The only good part was the bachata that was on for like 5 minutes then straight dem bow the entire night ? They need to take into account the continuous reviews and change it up.
