Cool breakfast experience. Can definitely tell it is a favorite among locals since most people seem to know each other. Prices are reasonable, food made to order and portions are more than enough. Friendly staff. Will most likely visit again next time staying in White Plains from Savannah, Ga.

Classic, quintessential diner. Probably passed it 100 times going up and down the Ave before actually going in. Easily my favorite diner in the area. I usually get a basic breakfast, but the burgers are really good too.
August 2025 Update: Brunch at Dorry's with friends this morning. Eggs Florentine Benedict - Oh. My. Goodness! Perfectly poached eggs over freshly wilted spinach, light creamy hollandaise... perfectly seasoned. Unbelievably delicious!!! Can't wait to go back and order again. Like home away from home. Dorry is always warm and welcoming. The food is home cooking, not mass-produced. Very, very good. Servers are delightful, quick, cheerful... eager to help. Always a happy visit.
