Overall is was a nice experience. The bartender, Amazing. The service was okay, it was a busy night but, the server I felt should've checked in more often. The food was good, especially the desserts.
Emma's continues to be a local treasure! They are consistently the most accommodating restaurant with a genuinely wonderful waitstaff. I never write reviews but after last night I'd feel very remiss. I had a “girls night out” with my 4 1/2 year old granddaughter! Emma's was her personal choice. As a grandmother, nothing could have disappointed but there are very few restaurants in Westchester who take a reservation for 2 on Saturday night and shower you with so much attention. I need to call out our server, Richard D. because he personally attended to the dining comfort of a child on a busy night. Our female busser was also so sweet and friendly. Thank you, Emma's! I've been dining with you for many, many years but last night really brought your spirit into focus. Sometimes, we all need to see the world through the eyes of a child or a Golden Retriever ❤️❤️
Always love Emma's! The food, the atmosphere, Cassie, Carol, Danny and the team. Thank you!
Nothing special. The onion rings were great, our meals were so-so. It's REALLY LOUD to the point of running out the door. Service was throw and go by several random people. Employees were in the way a lot and you had to wait and let THEM pass, which should be the other way around. I mentioned that to the hostess and she smiled and smirked. ?
Waiter was very attentive, service was stellar as this is a five star place.
The bread sticks were dry and hard. Not great.
The steak was ordered medium well but came back not even well done but “congratulations” if you know what I mean. Super dry and way overdone. Not good and inedible.
The beer selection was good.

Great staff and food
The best Ale House in town, GREAT food, and so much fun.
I visited Emma Ale House on 05/30/2025 for happy hour with a group of coworkers. I joined them last minute and ended up covering the check for what was a pretty standard happy hour, nothing fancy, just average bar food and drinks. After the happy hour ended, I paid the entire bill and even left a tip.
As we stepped outside and were casually chatting right in front of the restaurant, our server came out, check in hand, and asked us if everything was okay. Then, to our surprise — they showed us the receipt with the tip amount to confirm it was correct. I replied yes and walked away, but the interaction left a bad taste.
None of us have ever had that happen before at a restaurant. It felt awkward and frankly a bit rude. We expected better service and more professionalism. I don’t know if this was a misunderstanding or standard practice there, but it was definitely off-putting and not something that encourages a return visit.
Very cozy neighborhood Ale House with respectable food and a nice tap beer selection…Service began very well with a warm welcome. Towards the middle of the meal we felt slightly abandoned but
Eventually got found!
As a first-time tourist in United States I was amazed by this place. First of all, Emma is such a cute dog and there were lots of her pictures around! Secondly, the atmosphere gave me a real American experience. And finally the food was delicious - I’ve ordered an onion soup with fish and chips and my friends went for some salads and all of us were very pleased with the choice. Our waiter was a very funny and kind man, unfortunately we’ve only been passing through Westchester but next time I’ll make sure to come here again!

A fabulous warm and welcoming neighborhood restaurant! Love it!
Emma's is consistently good. This salad was exceptionally fresh and the pretzel sticks at the beginning are always something to look forward to. The staff is great.
A relaxing atmosphere with good service. Menu choices were very good and we enjoyed ourselves.
The place has great food made by under paid workers. The owner tries to promote workers within but not give them a raise. This is the reason why this place is always hiring because the workers don't stay long. Some workers stick around until they find a better job. Again the food is really good but made by under paid cooks and everybody in the kitchen is under paid as well. But these people have no other choice because it's hard find them to find another job.

I've been to Emma's many times and it never fails to satisfy me. The ambience is soothing, the food fresh and of high quality, and the staff warm and professional.
