1st time here & cooking my own food at a restaurant. Food was amazing and everything was so fresh. We ordered food for 3 people. Good was more than enough and we finished everything. Place was very clean, staff was very friendly & patient with our questions because we had never done that before. Chloe was our waitress. She very sweet and helpful. I really enjoyed it and will definitely be going back.

The rice was dry and didn’t taste good — I feel like the flavor has been getting worse over time.
But the staff was nice

We had a party of 14 and the staff at Gyu Kaku was friendly and accommodating. Wai was our server and he was great! The food was wonderful and we all had a good time.
This restaurant delivered exactly what we expected. Food was delicious. Our server was very attentive and drinks were reasonably priced. And all of it topped off by yummy make your own s'mores.
We were a group of 11 celebrating a birthday ... we went for 3 different group packages to experience everything on the menu and we were NOT disappointed. The assortment of appetizers and meats were phenomenal.... service was AMAZING ... everything was fresh and flavorful, staff were friendly and attentive ... park across the street in the municipal lot ... it's the first right once you cross MLK ... so much more convenient and less expensive than street parking. GREAT EXPERIENCE!!!
Best Japanese BBQ ever!

As soon as I walked in, all the staff was great! They all asked if I needed help. I never had to ask for water, napkins or for the table to be cleared. The food was amazing for the price and I would do it again. Must go!
The food was delicious, of course we did it ourselves but the service very good and the drinks as well.

Best. Food. Ever. That’s pretty much all I have to say. Especially when they have the happy hour or all you can eat.

Gyu-Kaku was my first Japanese BBQ and my first experience cooking for myself at a restaurant, and it was overall an excellent experience! The meats all tasted premium, and all the sides were even better than expected. The staff was very helpful in instructing you how each thing should be cooked and were generally very friendly. The atmosphere itself was a nice vibe, too. Chill, comfortable, friendly. A great spot for lunch or dinner with friends and family!

Delicious! This is quite the popular place but despite being so busy, we were served very well and in a timely manner. Great experience for groups and date night. Definitely worth a come back!

A fantastic place for a different kind of dining experience. They bring out platters of different meats and you cook it yourself at the table. Really wonderful way to spend time with people you care about.
You can never go wrong with Gyu-Kaku. Got the good for 4 meal and as always, it was more than enough for us!
