We were excited to try India Cafe for the first time today, however it was a terrible experience. We ordered a variety of vegetarian food. Unfortunately, the gobi manchurian was undercooked and the chef flatly denied to modify it. The curries were too oily, the food wasn’t flavorful but rather just somehow put together. To make it worst, one bathroom was out and the other was unkept. The empty restaurant with absolute no buzz for the entire peak hour we were there, perhaps it’s because of people like us who wouldn’t return due to poor food quality and customer service.
Food has gone down in quality over the years. Recipes don’t seem to be as plentiful or flavorful.

I’ve only ever ordered takeout from here. Love the food— the tikka masala is really good. I always add a bit of hot sauce at home for some extra heat. Food always arrives quickly and hot. Would like to try to dine in!

Pathetic! Horrible food and service. Took more than 30 mins to get substandard food. They served fridge-cold sambhar with uttapam and when we complained, the waiter asked if we would like it hot? Of course! Who serves cold sambhar?? Anyways, it was stale and weird

Went for lunch there today. Ordered a masala dosa and the Kerala lunch, which says 3 non-veg, 1 veg, 1 naan and dessert. The waiter told me they only had 2 non-veg items and would substitute a yogurt sauce. I said that was fine. The masala dosa was cold, as was the rest of the food and the fish was awful. Anyway, we finished our lunch and left and then I realized we had not got naan or dessert. When I called back later, the people I spoke to were NASTY beyond belief. I have never experienced such nastiness from people who are in the wrong. The uncouth jerk who picked up the phone, yelled that it was MY responsibility to ask for the dessert. Absolute uncivilized jerks. Will never go there again.

Take out Indian spot in white plains. The Naan bread is great. Always a fan favorite. Prices are what they are. The food is good and the portions is enough for two means. Food comes out pretty quick, not waiting 20 minutes for one meal. Will go back

Nice Indian food. They also had a cracking Onam special meal. No Indoor seating though.
Very authentic Kerala food. Kerala meals during lunch time is a must try!
Excellent takeout place with a table available if you absolutely need to eat it right there (which is something I would understand given the deliciousness of the food here). Everything I've had is tasty! I've tried the vegan, vegetarian and meat dishes here as well as the naan and samosas. Keep in mind that some orders take 15-20 minutes because they cook it fresh from scratch. Lunch specials are great for a quick bite as the entrees are already out on the steam tray.
