We dined here last night for dinner and I must say I’m a bit conflicted with leaving this review. The staff and ambiance is welcoming but could be a bit friendlier. We were immediately seated after arriving for a 9pm reservation. The restaurant also closes a bit early for a Saturday night. We were also immediately greeted by our waiter who was professional and courteous . We ordered a coupon of cocktails and once they were server, we then proceeded to order a couple of appetizers. The smoked old fashion while I liked the taste, it was nothing to rave about. The Tito’s mule was also in crushed ice and again, nothing special. Our disappointment was with the oysters - 6 west coast and two of them tasted bad. Also, I had broken oyster shell in on of them. The calamari, is poorly done and the batter falls off while picking them up. Our mains were lacking flavor and there was a broken clam in the clam dish. Again, I ended up eating clam shell. I informed the waiter in a nice manner and he was understanding and I also noted it was not his fault. Seems that the kitchen staff is in a rush to exit once the clock approaches 9:30. We also felt rushed while dining and the restaurant cleared out around 10:30pm with one set of guests remaining. At first, I wanted this to be a place I could visit regularly for oysters since it’s so close to home but they also only had two types of oysters. I hope things turn around for them but for now, I would need to see improvements on the dishes. The restaurant made good on the oysters and clam linguine and removed it from our bill so hence why I was conflicted with the review.

My husband and I went here last night and maybe it was because it was a Monday and the staff was being a little lazy compared to the weekend but it was not great. I ordered my steak medium and it came out rare so I asked them to cook it a little more, it then came back medium rare. I just decided to eat it at that point because I shouldn’t have to send a steak back twice. We asked for suggestions on a bottle of wine and the server had no idea what he was talking about. I asked for a sample of the Albariño and after sipping it I asked for a suggestion on a Chardonnay and he said “all we have is the one you’re trying and the other one” but I wasn’t even trying a Chardonnay? It was super weird. And it was impossible to get his attention when we wanted the check. Also, I’ve worked in the culinary industry for years and those were definitely not mashed potatoes made with real potatoes. Raw clams and shrimp were delicious though and my husband’s steamed lobster was great.
Overall, not worth $400 for a dinner for 2.

We have been back several times now and each time has reinforced our feeling that it's a local favorite. Last night the oysters were superb—bright, a bit salty, like the ocean. My fish tacos were surprisingly delicious. Others had the seafood Fra Diavolo, and one in our group had a steak. Everyone left happy.

This place is beautiful inside. I stopped by for an early dinner..Based on the reviews from Google maps. The service was excellent @the bar . I had grilled octopus and add the suggestion of the waiter the best burger yet it was amazing. My only disappointment was the drink recommendation. He recommended a Manhattan and it was way too sweet and I think they forgot to put the alcohol in so I just had a glass with a slice of orange and a black cherry and make sure with ice most expensive . OK well you know these things happen sometimes in the world, but I enjoy the food. I enjoy the atmosphere and I enjoyed the waiter/ bar tender.Maybe I’ll go back, but I doubt that I’ll order from a drink from the bar.
I really enjoyed everything I ordered, especially the oysters and the steamed muscles with sausage, sooo good highly recommend them.

Every time I go to Kee Oyster House it exceeds my expectations! Excellent service and food. The Blackened Tuna, Salmon and the Old Bay house made chips are fantastic. I can't wait to go back!
