The entire updated space, menu and experience at La Bocca is more than 5 stars! The following is all proven/true about the restaurant. 1. The environment is beautiful, cozy and inviting. 2. Alessandro is charismatic, welcoming, and with true familial interactions. 3. The food at this restaurant is UNBELIEVABLE! I am a first generation Italian who is quite particular with food and have visited many restaurants through extensive travels. The food is authentic, flavorful, fresh and a culinary journey. La Bocca is a genuine Italian restaurant in all aspects and will not disappoint. Highly recommend!

La Bocca’s updated look and menu are outstanding. Alessandro is a genuinely warm and authentic host.. The food is very creative and rooted in true Italian tradition—you won’t find the same tired, predictable dishes served at average Italian places.

La Bocca Vineria is the closest thing to an Italy experience you’ll find around here. From the moment you walk in, you’re welcomed with genuine smiles and real care, you immediately feel at home. Since the renovation, this place is truly on another level. I haven't been here in ages as I didn't like the previous owner. But this past saturday it was just wow! The menu is confident, authentic, and beautifully executed, and the redesigned interior completely transformed the atmosphere. When a place is this good, it naturally gets attention. I always judge an Italian restaurant by its carbonara, and theirs is the real deal: no cream, no peas, no bacon, just proper guanciale, perfectly done. That alone says everything. The management is attentive and present, the energy is vibrant, and the space reminds me of Rome with its stone details and warmth. At the same time, it’s refined enough to bring a date and feel like a million dollars. Thank me later!

We went to La Bocca Vineria with our organization and had an excellent experience. The food was superb and the atmosphere was very welcoming, refined and slightly upscale, yet warm and comfortable at the same time. Many of us are Italian and from the Calabria region, so we couldn’t resist the pasta with ’nduja and burrata cheese. It’s something that’s hard to find done properly in Westchester, and this version was outstanding. You can immediately tell the ingredients are top quality and carefully selected. It’s clear this place is run by Italians who genuinely care about food, hospitality, and creating a true dining experience. Highly recommended.

The service was great the waiters very sweet attentive we where there in the afternoon around 3pm…the food was terrible firstly I got the beet salad added shrimp…I got sick from the shrimp..the shrimp was dry and had an Oder the salad looked like a side salad and it was a main entree. The spicy sausage orecchiette was zero spicy bland. The tortellini I got for my son had way way too much cheese can’t believe I’m saying too much cheese but it did. The bread was cold and super dry, the focaccia would’ve been nice warmed.

Pay attention to the low reviews - they consistently say the same horrible feedback. The food is truly disgusting. Idk how basic pasta dishes can be messed up so horribly. I could’ve had better food from a Kraft box. For something that cannot possible have seasoning, the flavor is somehow still bad. The service and atmosphere were ok. I wanted to like this place and support it since so many establishments are going out of business in the area, but I cannot stress how bad the food is. And expensive! I wouldn’t even eat it for free.

La Bocca is truly a gem. The food is authentic Italian in the real sense — the kind that doesn’t just taste good, it feels like Italy. It’s the kind of place that keeps me coming back because the flavors are honest, comforting, and clearly made with love and pride.
I first came in on New Year’s Eve, one of the busiest nights of the entire year. The restaurant was packed and buzzing, and even with how incredibly busy it was, I was still very satisfied with my experience — which says a lot. You can’t judge a restaurant based on one visit, especially not on one of the craziest nights of the year, but La Bocca handled it with grace, warmth, and care.
The experience is elevated even more by the people. Giselle, the bartender, is an absolute star — so friendly and welcoming, an amazing mixologist, and always has the best recommendations. She truly makes you feel taken care of.
The owners, Alessandro and Anna, are incredibly warm, inviting, and hands-on. You don’t just feel like a customer here — you feel like a guest in their home.
The whole vibe feels like a little piece of Sicily, away from Sicily. Cozy, charming, and full of heart. La Bocca isn’t just a restaurant — it’s an experience, and one I’ll happily return to again and again.

This restaurant it’s abominable, went here for New Year’s Eve and $505 + 100 tip id realized that I was being overcharged all night long. The bartender was not charging for drinks as a cocktails or well drink, instead she charged every drink as top shelf liquor shot & this is not only outraging but dishonest & lack of respect for your patron thereof. $500 for two people at a mediocre restaurant like this it’s insane. Train your staff better. Additionally it’s insane that I was treated differently for being latina by a Latina bartender themself.

Had dinner on New Years Eve, total disappointment. Waited hours for our courses.. got entree at 11:30, after showing up for our 7.30 reservation. Service was non existent, had to get our own drinks from bar. Food was ok. Wasn’t even that busy..1 waiter for 4 -10 person tables . Management disappeared when the customers complained..like they were hiding. Was never even offered coffee with dessert, when asked I was ignored .The new management totally ruined this restaurant..it’s a shame

The staff at La Bocca fit us in on Christmas Eve at the very last minute with no reservation and no wait! The service team was highly attentive and made it a special experience for us. They featured an excellent cocktail menu along with a great fixed price menu, with a good variety of options. I had short ribs which were excellent. We would definitely come back.

Not pleased with chicken scarparelli served in a bowl with large pieces of chicken that was hard to cut in the bowl it was served. Small bits of sausage hard to find.
Some of the Mussels special had a unpleasnt fishy taste while some on bottom ok.
Noisy with large tables of men.

I stopped into this new restaurant not knowing what to expect, and I left wondering one thing- where did this guy come from?
Mike has crafted a truly curated cocktail list—every drink feels intentional, creative, and unlike anything I’ve had elsewhere. You can tell he puts real thought into flavor combinations, and somehow everything just works. Each cocktail feels like a little discovery.
Beyond the drinks, Mike is exactly the kind of bartender you hope to find: personable without being pushy, professional yet warm, and genuinely passionate about what he’s serving. He asks great questions, makes thoughtful recommendations, and seems to read the room effortlessly.
If you’re curious about trying something new—or just want an impeccable drink made by someone who clearly loves his craft—ask for Mike. He’s the kind of bartender who makes you want to come back just to see what he’s mixing next.
