We had a great dinner at the new La Bocca Ristorante & Vineria in downtown White Plains. Food and service were great. The new owners kept the staff and the new interiors look really nice! The event space nextdoor also is a great addition to the community.
Great food and drinks. Very friend owner and staff. We will be back again.

We came here to celebrate my daughter’s college graduation, a very special day for our family. I want to start by saying our waiter was absolutely wonderful. He was professional, kind, and attentive throughout the entire meal. None of the issues we experienced were his fault.
Unfortunately, the food was extremely disappointing. My daughter ordered the lobster tails over linguini, but the lobster was so overcooked it was inedible. She sent it back and opted for penne alla vodka instead, which was just okay. I ordered a steak that was supposed to come with an arugula salad, but it arrived with potatoes instead, and the steak itself was terribly overcooked. The chicken parm was also bland and tough, and the seafood in the fra diavolo was rubbery and clearly overcooked. The carbonara had a visible puddle of oil sitting at the bottom of the plate.
To add to it, I ordered a Sprite and watched as it was poured from a 7 Up bottle; not even from a soda gun. It felt off for a place at this price point.
We decided to stay and make the best of it because our waiter was doing a great job, and we didn’t want to ruin the mood or our daughter’s graduation photos. But for the quality of the food, it simply wasn’t worth the price. We truly should’ve left after the first few bites. I hope the restaurant can take this as constructive feedback—the front-of-house staff deserves better support from the kitchen.

Wow the food is amazing. I was really impressed with everything including the service and trust me I am super picky, I was nervous because it was a business dinner. I usually eat at a new restaurant first before bringing my clients, but someone had recommended it, so I took a chance and i was not disappointed. The staff is on top of everything and very professional.
We went to this restaurant for lunch today and the food was overwhelmingly disappointing starting with the cold bread and eggplant put on the table which had no taste. We ordered the calamari al coccio which was so salty that you could taste nothing else. For entrees, we got the salmone martini - the fish was fishy and could not eat it; it was served with grilled asparagus, beans and roasted potatoes - the asparagus was either stale or overcooked as it was a brownish greenish color and had no taste, potatoes and beans were just ok. Also got the spaghetti carbonara - pasta overcooked and pancetta cut in too big chunks and too much fat. This was returned for the gamberoni gratinati - shrimps were good size and tasted very ordinary, risotto tasted soggy and it had none of that rich creamy flavor - underwhelming. Another person in our party had the veal capricciosa - veal was overcooked and tasted like a thin slice of cardboard. As mentioned, we were really looking forward this meal but after our appetizers and main courses, decided not to take the chance with coffee and dessert so declined and called it a day - what a disappointment. For the price point they should serve better quality, finer preparation and better tasting food. This will definitely not be on our list of places to try again!

The appetizers are usually very good, but for whatever reasons there are times you order the same order, and the taste and texture are different. Tends to be salty. In general good services and the drinks are good.

Taste of food is okay. The portions are awfully small for the price! Won't be coming back.

This was one of the most disappointing dinners in recent memory. The service was abysmal. We were told we could not have bread until everyone had ordered. We asked three times for beverages and they completely skipped over the order for one of our guests. Apparently clearing plates was a challenge. Food was cold and mediocre at best. On top of this, a 20% gratuity was automatically added.
Will absolutely never return.

Amazing
Crowded night but service was really bad. Server disappeared for 20+ minutes multiple times. Food was also underwhelming. Also a 20% gratuity applied automatically for a table of 2.

The people who left bad reviews are the people who order penne vodka or chicken parm at an Italian restaurant. If you're looking for real authentic Italian cooking look no further! If you want spaghetti oh's go to Olive Garden.
