The food was itself great...Ordered the octopus and Chicken Marsala. Cooked and prepared very well. Service was on point as well. However, as the unfortunate usual for Italian restaurants...you do not get a fair portion to price ratio. If you're hungry I'd opt for a different type of food....like I said the food was very tasty but you don't much.

I am here with work and last night my colleagues suggested we go to La Boccas as they know Tony the owner. What an amazing little hidden gem and truly lovely Italian restaurant. The owner Tony greeted us with open arms and the staff were superb. To start with they brought us all an antipasti platter selection to share then I had the most amazing fish pizza. I will certainly be returning back ?

It is the worst service I have ever received, the service was terrible, the waiter treated me badly, everything I ordered he said they didn't have and what I ordered he told me that it was going to take a longer Than other dishes and in fact it took him an hour to start bringing the appetizers and also forgot to bring the drinks we ordered when they arrived the appetizers were cold it was terrible I had never been treated so badly in a restaurant the service and I am surprised that the waiter gave such bad service but my experience starting with the breads they bring At first it was cold and the frozen butter was disgusting. I will never return to that place. disgusting don't spend your money there please

Upon arrival, we were presented with a “special Valentine's Day menu.” The choices we had would have been appropriate in a diner and we could not order off the regular menu. The waitress took our order, bought our drinks and then the wait began. It took 45 minutes to get our first course and another 45 minutes to get our second course. The food was barely warm, the spaghetti sauce was sour, tasting like it came out of a jar. Our final course took an additional 30 minutes. We were twice presented with the wrong order before we finally got our main course. The steak was tough, full of gristle, and cold. The chicken Parmesan had the same sour sauce as the pasta dish and was also cold. Of note was that all of the other tables in our dining room also did not receive their food. This fiasco cost $75 each plus drinks and tax.

Place needs updating; chairs were torn at the table I was seated at and the appearance is old and tired. Food was just ok - nothing to rave about at all. With so many other, better restaurants in the neighborhood to choose from, I won't be coming back here.

There was absolutely nothing that I enjoyed about this restaurant. Service was not exceptional but they were responsive. The entree and appetizer were mediocre,no, actually not very good. Prices are somewhat expensive.

Where to begin. When we cane in the owner, or maybe he was an older waiter, was not happy to see 3 kids. He even said the other patrons were looking for a quieter time. He changed his mind when he saw the shocked look on our faces and sat us. Wish we had left though, when we found three hairs in one of our pasta dishes, and a fish bone in one the beef ravioli dishes (I hope it was a fish bone anyway). Avoid.

Our server was amazing, dedicated, kind and on top of everything. The staff in general were committed to give us a wonderful New Year’s Eve experience and I commend them for that. However, the food was terrible. Overcooked pasta (so much, you couldn’t eat it with a fork), cesar salad of a salad bag from the grocery store, tasteless dressing, beef carpaccio with half of an arugula bag and three very thin pieces of beef, and the kick of all, there’s no drink menu, so we end up paying for a rosé the same price I paid for a prepared cocktail in a fancy bar last week in NYC. The only food worth eating was the canoli at the end, but the final tab didn’t reflect the quality of food or drinks. I’d only come back for coffee and dessert.

Waiter should learn how to pronounce some Italian words, especially for such a short menu list. Portions very small. Prices rather high for White Plains. More experience than Manhattan.

What a disappointment. Arrived and no one greeted or acknowledged us. Waited a while for a waiter. Ordered two mains. One brought out and set in the middle of the table. Second main cane 10 minutes later. Fish tasted bad. Didn't eat but the one bite. Price was very high for such low quality. Stay away.

I don't know if you can tell from the picture, but the risotto is just some rice in sauce/soup. The flavor was still good, but maybe they used the wrong kind of rice or didn't give it enough time to absorb the broth.
