There aren’t a ton of Mexican options around our area (that I’ve found anyway) so I was excited to try this one out when we found it. It was pretty good. We tried the chicken enchiladas, tacos (chorizo, shrimp, and beef), fries (of course), and the chips and guac. Everything was pretty good, some parts were a little dry. It’s a very small hole in the wall and the wait time was really long. It took about 45 minutes for our pick up to be ready which I thought was pretty long. Overall, it was okay and I’d go back to try something else.I was a little disappointed to see them still using styrofoam containers and would love to see them switch to something more eco friendly.

Small place can't really dine in but for take out there's no competition hands down fantastic cooking and flavors. Well, what can I tell you, the place doesn't have much space. It is not a place to sit and eat. The service was very excellent. The food is very delicious and actually tasty too. When I am traveling from Connecticut to Pennsylvania I will surely stop at this place again. In my opinion, La Picara has no competition, it is unique.

I loved it, for travelers it is an excellent place to eat, you don't waste much time, it is a matter of 5 minutes next to 287, it is better to travel with a full stomach. It handles better ❤️ .

My coworkers and I ordered cemitas from here and they were not good at all. All 3 of us ate half and threw the other half away. Very disappointed being that there were very high ratings.

Don't be fooled by the tiny kitchen on a residential street, the food was out of this world. Amazing tacos al pastor, carnitas, and some of the best tamales I've ever had!
Worst Mexican restaurant in the entire Westchester county. If you like to be disrespected and get your food wrong every time then go and be ready to have a disgusting experience. People at this place, including owner and staff, have ZERO service skill nor Mexican food knowledge. It’s a shame that a cuisine known for its exquisite flavor becomes garbage in the hands if these restauranteurs wanna be.

The food was ok. Nothing to rave about. Service was so-so. But the clientele is super noisy. You can't have a conversation with the person sitting next to you. Will not return.
