Lombardo's White Plains

We both were disappointed in our meals. The parking lot was full but the restaurant wasn't.

I am never disappointed by the service or the food at Lombardo's. My only comment would be that the acoustics in the room are not great and it can be very loud and noisy.

The food was excellent as always, but I believe they're going to price themselves out of business. Very expensive. 

I arrived in a party of six to find a sign affixed to the entrance saying their credit card machine was offline and they didn't accept ApplePay. Fortunately, I had enough cash that we were able to have lunch. Since both Lombardo's and Open Table had my mobile phone number, I think I should have been alerted beforehand. Very disappointing.

A place for Non-Italians....

Dropping my son off at college in the area and was looking for a place to eat before doing so. Found this place on Google and we gave it a try.

First off the bread they brought to the table was horrible. Why even serve it? No flavor, wasn't warm, and it was these triangle shaped pieces that had no substance to.

2nd was my lasagna. Maybe 10 strips of noodles (way too may) with nothing in-between. Who are they kidding... Didn't see any meat, cheese or Ricotta. If it was there, I didn't notice it.

3rd was the Penne Vodka with chicken. That wasn't all too bad.

Service and Atmosphere was nice and hence why I gave it 2 stars instead of 1. Just definitely not a place I'll ever eat again.

Don't get the chicken piccata - very disappointing with heavy piccata sauce . Mussels ok but small - Nothing special. Avoid first parking lot- they should put a sign to continue for valet parking. The first lot is super small and hard to get out of once you pull in. Inside very noisy- we sat outside which was quiet but faces highway. I won't return. Prices were fairly high for the quality of food. There's a lot better restaurants in the area.

We LOVE their Tuscan Steak salad since forever and eat here every chance we can. Their pizza is amazing, too. We eat here whenever we visit White Plains. It’s convenient, with ample parking, a big, airy room with a bar, and lots of booths.

The one drawback is we’ve rarely felt welcomed here. The staff acts indifferent though they’re polite.

Kid-friendliness: They have plenty of high chairs.

The food was great and so was the friendly service. Just the restaurant was too noisy. We were shouting to speak to each other. It was really hard for the waiters to hear the order without repeats.

Aside from the crowded weekends, we can’t complain. Food is VERY good. We recommend the lemon basil martini and the chicken with red peppers panini. Lentil soup is a great choice during the winter months. One of our favorite places. ♥️
