Place is cool I go often. Food is usually great. Staff are ok. Some seem a bit stressed or not in the mood to work. My BIGGEST issue is the Maintanence. One the decor should be upgraded but that’s a not a real deal breaker. The mess from previous customers are never cleaned up promptly. Every time I go there is at least two to three tables that need to be cleaned. Also the “clean” tables never look cleaned properly. Now I don’t know if they are understaff but restaurant presentation is VERY important. The maintenance should match the quality of food.

This used to be my hangout spot with other moms back in the day when my first born was little. Returned today with my second child sleeping away. It was just as relaxing as I remember it. Enjoyed pizza and a hot tea.

It's a Cafe in a department store. What do you need to know.

Excellent food here, including the best salmon Caesar salad I've ever had! Very good experience for a department store restaurant.

#WhileUAreHere, you gotta stop by Nordstroms cafe! Having spent most of the day shopping with the fam, my mom and I dropped by for lunch and were pleasantly surprised. With an arrangement of soups, sandwiches and pastas, it's the perfect place for a quick midday bite. Plus the ladies serving us that day were exceptional! Pleasant place to sit with a cup of coffee to rest and regroup while shopping

Food is tasty but portions are not large. You order and pay before finding a table and food is brought to you. This is a place for families to stop and have a bite while shopping.

Came here was we were shopping the mall. food was very fresh tasting and the server was very nice and attentive. we ordered a large pizza pie with some Caesar salad that we were able to split among the four of us the place has a nice feel for it and should be advertised more as you wont know about it if you have not seen it while your shopping in Nordstrom good spot and we may return

I am a huge fan of Nordstrom Cafe, and am a frequent visitor to the Cafes at the Natick, Braintree, and gone but not forgotten Providence Place locations, so I was delighted to see that they had one at the Westchester when we visited last week! I knew that we were in for a treat, especially since I have had such wonderful lunches at the other spots I've been to over the years. This Cafe was no exception! For those of you who have never had the pleasure of dining at a Nordstrom Cafe, you place your order and pay at the register before sitting down to dine, and then the food is brought out to you. They have an array of soups, sandwiches, salads, and a couple of entrees, plus a wine and beverage list. The cuisine is a bit on the pricier side (it was about $30 for my boyfriend and I with soup, an entree salad, and two soft drinks), but extremely worth it! I urged my boyfriend to try the signature Tomato Soup, which is a creamy and satisfying bowl of tomato goodness served with a couple of homemade cheese crostini. They even sell it by the jar on your way out, so if you can't get enough of it, you can make it at home. My mom got me one of those jars for Christmas one year! I opted for the Grilled Shrimp Salad, which is one of the best salads I've ever had. I mean, I'm still dreaming about it. Fresh arugula topped with plump grilled shrimp, crunchy polenta croutons, Parmesan cheese, and roasted corn and tomatoes all tossed in a creamy basil herb dressing. Heavenly. We got some locally made root beer and iced tea, which were refreshing additions to our lunch selections. The dining room is lovely, and offers a great view of the White Plains skyline. Take some discreet photos for social media, but beware of disapproving stares from society matrons at neighboring tables. Ah well, the burden of being a millennial, I guess! :) Word to the wise: Tip is not included when you check out at the beginning of your meal, and your server gives you a receipt at the end of the meal to leave a tip on. I was a bit confused by this, and I wish they had told me when I was buying the food at the beginning that this is how it works. Oh well. Nevertheless, we had a wonderful time, and we'll be back again!
