Wanting to support a local family owned business, I set my eyes on Puebla corner deli. My goal? To consume Birria Tacos with an overzealous splash of Valentina while washing it down with a frosty jarritos. Things didn't go exactly as planned. I ordered our food, two order , 6 Birria Tacos, $30. Waited anxiously for them to be assembled and served, and we were met with the first obstacle. The Birria is not served with Consumé, in fact we were told Consumé had to be special ordered separately. That was a bit odd considering photos of their food menu shows consume and we're weren't advised of this until our food came out. And we were notified in such a way as to feel like it was too late to order some to have with our tacos, as if it needed to be made from scratch perhaps. The next obstacle was the taco preparation itself. I'm accustomed to quesabirria style Birria, these had zero cheese and they never hit the griddle for that signature crust. The corn tortilla was soggy and the meat , while very juicy and tender, lacked flavor. This was not a good experience and unfortunately we didn't enjoy our food.

This is the most Authentic Mexican cuisine in Westchester if not all of NY!! My friend from Puebla recommended this place and it’s a treasure! Everything is delicious: sopes, tacos (I love the steak ones) poblano peppers, tamales, tripe, street corn… 🤤🤤🤤😋😋😋so good!!! I always grab a few new things and I’m never disappointed!

Stopped in and ordered a chicken torta and steak tacos — both were excellent! The torta was incredible, honestly one of the best I’ve ever had. The tacos were delicious too, and both the red and green salsas were authentic and full of flavor. I’ll definitely be coming back here for lunch whenever I’m in the area.

Owner charged me different price cause I was eating at table than take out...foods good but owner lady was mean when I told her you did not post any sign or tell me before I ordered...

Puebla Corner Deli is the real deal. These tacos taste just like the ones you’d get in Mexico, full of flavor, juicy meat, fresh cilantro, onion, and a squeeze of lime that brings it all together. The tortillas are perfectly toasted and hold up beautifully.

They even throw in fresh cucumber, radish, and plenty of lime on the side, just how it should be. You can tell everything’s made con cariño.

Fast service, great people, and food that hits every time. This place is a true gem in White Plains — auténticos tacos de verdad! 🌮🇲🇽🔥

I went back to eat because the first time I made it I thought it was very good but now I am disappointed in the food I ordered some tacos which I couldn't eat of the three I ordered I left two and medium I don't know if I will return again 🙄 🙄
