The pescado con salsa de camerones was delicious. I asked for the salsa de camarones on the side. The pina colada was good too. We did not like milanesa de pollo. The waitress was nice.

Ughhhh this has always been my go-to spot for Peruvian food but as of late the service has dropped. Yesterday was the last straw. I ordered yellow rice, 1/2 white meat chicken and sweet plantains. Picked up the food, got home, to find only yellow rice and chicken in the container, no plantains…I immediately called, because this mishap happened a few times prior, where food was missing.

The female at the front answered the phone, I told her my dilemma, she said “we can refund you the cost of the plantains” I said “awesome I’d appreciate it” I also asked her, how long it would take to go back to my card, because the last time this happened, I was promised a refund and never received it. She then said “let me put you on hold” She comes back on the phone and says “the manager asks that you send a photo of proof to his number to show the plantains missing”

I was like “wowwwwww are you guys serious? I order from here all the time, and you think I would call you to LIE about missing food, something as minimal as plantain?” That statement was so off putting. Well I took my photo and a video and sent it to the boss! The message took a good 20mins before it was delivered, I even sent it via WhatsApp. The manager then calls me back and says “I received the photo, we will refund you”

Not a good look at all. I’ve built a business on promoting local food spots and have posted Purple Corn on my profile a few times…sad that they would try to insinuate that I was lying or that my word wasn’t truthful. Anyways I await this refund ….

And he ordered Parihuela wich is Sea Food Soup. It was Delicious and we definitely Will come back to enjoy more Peruvian Dishes

Honestly one of my go-to spots now. The food is really good everything tastes fresh and well seasoned, especially the rotisserie chicken and lomo saltado. Portions are generous, and for the price you really can’t beat it. The staff is always friendly and welcoming, which makes a big difference. Service is quick, and they make you feel taken care of. If you’re looking for solid Peruvian food with great value, this place is definitely worth checking out. I’ll definitely be coming back.

Visiting the area and my wife thought the menu looked interesting. Staff was welcoming and fantastic. The food was great! My wife had a seafood soup with a great broth and lots of fish.
I had a wonderful simple chicken salad packed with avocado ,tomatoes , cucumbers and really juicy chicken . The prices were great. Very informal with great food and service
