The coconut is the bomb !!

As someone who works the counter at a restaurant I was embarrassed for the way the counter girl was working. Secondly, I tried to do the build your own bowl option. Chose the classic size, one base, and 3 fruits, because that is what the sign says was included, and additional fruits for a charge. Suddenly by 13.09 bowl was almost 19 dollars. Confused, I asked the girl why that was, and why I was charged 2 dollars for each topping when the large board said I could add 3. When I asked why I was charged, she said “ I dont know” and said well “ dont you work here”. Typically as a the counter person when someone asks me the pricing of something I tend to know the reason as well as additional charges for extras. Then, she added “ They changed it” which really confused me because the bige light up bulletin board clearly stated it, so I am not sure why that would be up if “they changed it” I was honestly very upset, and just felt bitter eating my bowl.

Over the years, I've spent a tremendous amount of money here, going back to when they first opened. Im a teacher in the area. Recently, I've had it. The people that work there are rude and just don't give a crap and don't know how to interact with a customer and the nickle and diming is insane. I ask for peanut butter they charge me. Fine. When I realize it's only 1 scoop I ask for a little extra and they charge more. So for 2 small scoops of peanut butter, they charge more than a damn jar. I know that sounds petty, but it's more the attitude they gave me. It's already an expensive product. So if I want some peanut butter I'm spending 25 bucks on a lunch that's really just a smoothie. Hell, id never ask, but i dont like the honey and coconut on top. Think they deduct money for that? Lol. The girl today was just no affect, didn't care. The last time it was similar. The kid seemed scared to give me peanut butter. I didnt realize how serious it was for them though. Said she was the manager and that's that. Well, I know it doesn't matter, but ill never be back again. Ever. Loyalty and repeat customers and local support doesn't mean anything. And above all else, just a friendly attitude goes a long way. I'll stick with toxic wings and lukamandes next door who always smile and even know my name when I'm spending my money.

Arrived at 7;50 and the doors were locked. Shortly after—a young lady comes out and says with an attitude, that she has to leave for a family emergency. Unfortunate for me— I was looking to grab a bowl for dinner. Just seems like she wanted to leave early. Bad for biz

I've been hooked ever since summer of 2021. I always had an obsession with acai bowls so thankfully someone started a business out of them! ?

The service is always friendly and attentive but not overbearing. I also love that they sell their famous granola separately so you take it home!

Vegetarian options: No meat is sold here. May be some dairy products and honey. But those are optional.

Parking: Depends on the location, but parking is usually free and abundant.

First time here and probably won’t be back. We ordered a 24oz peanut butter and banana smoothie and Açaí smoothie. Açaí smoothie was decent but the peanut butter and banana smoothie was warm. Yes a warm smoothie, on a 90° end of summer day. We mentioned it to the girl and she said that the bananas aren’t frozen and that’s probably why it was warm, but you don’t use ice? One decent and one warm 24oz smoothie came to $28. Crazy! One and done for us.

The service was friendly enough and reasonably fast, however I probably won't be back soon.First off, it feels overpriced at around $15 for what is essentially an 8 ounce smoothie with some granola on the bottom and fruit on top.The worst part, however, was the horribly unripe mangos which should never have been used. It was essentially like chewing flavorless rocks. Practically inedible.Don't serve unripe fruit to paying customers. Substitute it with something else.
