Definitely save your money. The pros - the ambiance - the drinks (red sangria/ coconut mojito) - fio the waitress (polite and attentive) the cons my family and I ( a party of 16) had a very bland experience. we booked a week in advance and had a private table in the back. This was our first time dining here and we thought it would be good to try them out and we all ended up regretting it. We went with the $45 prefix menu which had a mixed appetizer, entree and allotted desserts. The d'oeuvre were overcooked ( and the entrees were so bland omg. The talapia and mango chicken were so terrible i was in disbelief. the only thing that was decent was the flat iron steak and the pernil (which i didn't taste since i don't eat pork) the dessert was just as bad you could tell they were store bought lil assorments the bill ended up being something close to $65 per person with tax and gratuity included and id honestly say never again. I know sofrito is a restaurant franchise but they need to remap their essence of giving people a taste of Puerto Rico cultural dishes, as they put it to shame. so if your thinking of this place id definitely says big past.

It is probably one of my favorite restaurants ever! I love their amazing foods and variety.

Never again. Sofrito has seen better days. Father's Day brunch service was as bad as it gets. The male waiter with the beard in the back room was the worst. I have to describe him because he never introduced himself . Appetizers that came with the prefix meal did no seem fresh with the exception of the the fried calamari. The fried pork chunks were dry and hard. My wife had the pernil mofongo. 75% of the pernil(pork) was fat and mofongo was dry and not fresh tasting. The chicken and waffles were ok. They did not allow us to order from the regular menu although only 1 out of the 5 were going to drink any alcoholic beverages. 3 drinks were included per person but only I drank and only had 2 sangrias served in a small PLASTIC cup yet they had the audacity to charge us for a side of home fries and a side of fried cheese. We had to wait a long time for every single thing and the waiter did not ask us not one time if we needed anything else( which is rare cause that rarely happens at any restaurant). All in all $240 for bad brunch and bad service. Sofrito will never get a single penny from me ever again.

came for brunch as we stayed at the Ritz Carlton the night before the food was very good and when we got there no one had arrived yet ordered the variety pack of empanadas and they were all very tasty and fresh we ordered some sangrias that were ok not as strong as i would of liked but i finished them so cant complain the eggs Benedict i ordered and it was very tasty service was decent as the wait staff seemed like they worked last night and was still waking up but the service did not suffer because of it we left stuffed and satisfied and the crowd was arriving when we left we will definitely be back for more especially on a Friday or Satuday night when there is music playing

Not my first time there but this was the worse visit by far. My reservation was never confirmed. I had to send back my food three times and still wasn't cooked right brought it home just to cook and be able to eat it. We were ignored by the staff besides one person in particular. I sent the manager an email of what occurred and it to was ignored as well. No acknowledgement, or sorry for the bad experience. I don't know what has changed or personnel but it's not the same anymore. Which is sad because this was my go to restuarant. To be clear this was Sofrito White Plains.

A friend and I stumbled upon this place and it was the best $$ spent for brunch! We had the Sunday brunch deal for $35 which had unlimited mimosa or sangria (well alcoholed), an appetizer and then a main course! For appetizer we got the pork and empanadas, sooooo delicious and a decent serving size. For the main course we got the steak and eggs (to die for) and my friend got the chicken and waffles too. Thanks to our great bartender who was personable and gave us the best customer experience! Overall a great experience and I'm so happy we came across this yummy place! Will be back for more!

Wow, wow, wow! I celebrated my mother's surprise 65th birthday here and we were a group of 25. I planned it with Samantha (events coordinator) via e-mail. Their pre-fixed menu at first seemed a little steep at $45 per person, but when you see the portion sizes (you can feed a small village with their pernil) it is well worth it! Everything was delicious and our waitress Fiorella was absolutely amazing! We had three guests that are began and could not partake in the pre-fix appetizer options. She was able to provide them with tostones with guacamole and veggie empanadas. Sofrito's pre-fix menu includes desserts but we brought our own cake so we didn't order the desserts from the pre-fix menu so they were able to exclude the $3pp cake cutting fee. After dinner there was no issue with the check (which can be so annoying when it's a large group) because everyone's bill was the same price. After dinner Fiorella took us downstairs to their little club and we danced the night away. We all had such a great night and I would highly recommend Sofrito's for any gathering. Oh, and I forgot to mention I had a guest go to the Sofrito's in the city so by the time he arrived to the White Plains location everyone was having cake. Fiorella made sure he had his dinner and felt right at home

Recently moved to the area and have been looking for a good Spanish spot with authentic Spanish food. I have to say the food is great-- everything from the mofongo, to the paella is very tasty. On the negative side , the portions do not match the price of each meal. The service could be a little better. I called for pick up and asked for the final price and they said they could not give it to me, but wanted my credit card information to place order--- which I find totally weird. Other than that definitely a great experience.

First time here, nice dining and love the NY style open windows, a lot of fresh air. The drinks are okay service and s bit slow ( just one girl ). She forgot my soup but it was okay since I had big lunch. Food was okay very similar to Mexican Rice beans and avocados. Nice looking sexy Bar and easy parking on street

I have been coming here for happy hour for a few years. I have yet to try their food. I have to say, this place has a great vibe. In nice weather, they open up the front windows and you get a nice breeze. The bartenders have always been great. I plan to keep visiting and will someday check out their food menu.
