Awful Starbucks very very poor experience I do not recommend

It's a real shame that this Starbucks establishment isn't better than it is because it's in a prime location - right smack in the middle of downtown White Plains. It's literally the only business on the plaza space, which is on a corner and it shares with benches & the fountain, as well as the end of Mamaroneck Avenue. The glass structure is appealing. However, the actual efficiency is poor! It is quite small, so do not go here if your intention is to sit or meet someone. I don't think it's even a management issue because ever since it opened, it has had the issues around it being slow, cramped, & less than friendly. I think it's the size that does it in. There are just far too many customers, that it almost always stresses me out. Im sure the staff too must find the environment overwhelming. I now will only go here if it's a mobile order that I can get from the window. But that's just me. I just hate waiting in a cramped space with too many people. You may want to consider going to City Center, literally across the street, on Mamaroneck Avenue. There are 2 in-store Starbucks' there. One is in Target, in the basement. The other is in Barnes & Noble - Barnes has their own food (not Starbucks) but they have th entire Starbucks drink menu.
Parking: Street parking isn't easy to find but it's there.
This is my go to place for a morning cup of coffee when I travel in for work. Always friendly and quick. Coffee always tastes fresh.

The parking is tough fyi. It is a small spot with no seats. Drinks come out fast and hot. Service is friendly. No complaints with the operation but location is tough if you are driving.

This location in White Plains is very unprofessional and extremely slow. They left a new worker by himself to make the drinks while the other employees/supervisor are chit chatting. While he’s clearly struggling. My self and several other customers had put in a mobile order before 11am and we had received our order AFTER 11:30am. Had they just helped him out instead of talking I’m sure everyone could have gotten their order(s) in a more reasonable timely manner. We understand there can be a rush with a bunch of orders coming in. But waiting over 35+ minutes for TWO iced coffees was ridiculous.

Ordered the most recent highlighted 'Pecan Latte' and received what looked like a regular latte. I asked for the 'sprinkles' (whatever the delicious crunch is) and the girl said, 'Oh' and made an entire new drink that still did not have the 'sprinkles'. I know it sounds absurd to complain - but Starbucks charges almost $10 for what should feel like a treat. I returned the second drink and asked for a refund. No questions asked, the cashier didn't care. If I were the owner of that Starbucks, I'd be bothered. Subpar service, incredibly busy - I get it. But people are willing to wait if they're paying $10 for a cup of coffee - just make it right. Slow down, it's okay. So I drove to Scarsdale - 15 minutes out of the way, got the same Pecan delight and it was made to perfection. Found my new Starbucks which is incredibly too bad being the White Plains one is minutes from my home.

My entire office has sworn to never order from this location again. They had gotten every single order we placed incorrect and then said tough they won't do anything to fix it. Even when a coworker of mine had to leave early do to an allergic reaction from their carless wrong order. The starbucks in Elmsford is 100% better, just go there its super close to one another.
The beverages were good at this location but the staff was dismissive and seemed frustrated when interacting with customers.

Staff is very rude. After I ordered 15min ahead and no other customer was in the store I kindly asked if they received my online order. Unfortunately I had to interrupt their chatting. They got so upset that after new customers arrived they served them first and let me wait another 10min. It was on August 24th at 5:30pm. After I asked them to get my money back they finally moved. Unacceptable!
